In Temperance, we had a car port that had been made into a family room when the new garage was built, so the kitchen had a window overlooking that room. It's likely similar to this place -the garage was originally just a carport. Lots of houses built in the 50s and 60s with that layout.

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree. She was protesting entirely too much and admittedly had zero evidence of any kind to demonstrably prove any of her allegations. It’s entirely possible that she’s telling the whole truth, but I think that’s more improbable than not. I occasionally disagree with Mike’s non-legal conclusions-usually on minor points-but I’m totally on board with him on this one. (I have absolutely zero expertise or legal knowledge to ever disagree with his legal points)

Another stupid decision by a judge that just doesn't want to deal with it. What happens if that woman does burn down the house? Thats why I think in certain circumstances Judges should be held accountable for what happens after they rule on something.

the problem is whether she said that or not , even if it's high probability she did, there is no evidence for it. Lets play devils advocate, all she's says is true, that the others are threatening her, and are working together to get her out , and will say anything , make up anything to help with that. Just because 2 people say the same thing, doesn't mean that carry's more weight than 1 person saying the opposite. So the Judge has no evidence that either is lying or telling the truth. So the statement "burn the house down" is to an extent meaningless, because there is zero evidence to support that, which is an inherent problem with these types of cases. If they had a recording, or an independent witness, the problem is the testimony even if true of the other 2 cannot be taken as fact He presumes she will be evicted and that's the best way to deal with it, she will have zero reason to interact with any of the 3 people after that and if she does then it won't look good for her
