Wow, I know you are mostly into yellowy-orange blushes but I think the blush you used in this video looks stunning on you! 😍 Love it, and would looove to have reviews of you about other dusty, muted, and a little cool toned, like beigey-pink toned blushes, because those are my fave blush shades and I very much value your reviews on products. I love using the OG Shape Tape to spot correct under a tinted moisturizer. It really combats the dryness of the concealer formula but keeps my makeup light. Perfect duo for my combo skin.

I'm sad the mini ego didn't pan out - I've swatched that and the Big Ego palette and they definitely put all the money in the formulation in the larger version they swatch SO differently. The cheeks look stunning and the lip is pretty!

I love 6 pan palettes- they’re the better version of a quad imo. I’ve never tried Tarte but I like my makeup to feel special and they don’t seem to go for that.

Wow it takes some VERY bad eyeshadow to make Angie want to take off her makeup immediately. What a rip off! And also, palettes like these give colourful shadows a bad reputation. 6 pans should be either a day look in a palette, or a palette of pops usually special shiny shades.

I agree with you about Tarte Shape Tape! You only need to use a little product to get great coverage, and I like that I don't have to set it. Tarte's complexion formulas don't tend to oxidize which I also like.

The Fenty eaze drop skin tint is underrated. It blurs well, is long lasting in humidity and also gives a decent amount of coverage for a tint. I have rosacea and love the idea of a tint that evens out your skin but also want enough coverage to cover the redness.

I ordered directly off of KVD a year ago and they sent a free plum colored blush. I never would have bought a purple shade. But on occasion I do like it. I've always been a rose peach colored blush person. Never like to get anything else.

About concealer coverage: Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage is a super high coverage concealer, that takes some practice to work with. Used with it's accompanying brush, it's perfect for spot concealing, but for under the eyes, you have to manipulate it and dilute it with something, because you just can't drag something that dry onto such a soft, cushiony area. First time I used the product+brush was...when you were probably in mellanstadiet. I was in *no* shape or form a professional or not even that well versed in makeup application, but having done my homework, I spent 30 minutes judiciously applying any mix of the two shades of SC-3 together (because that was the shade Wenche Hughes of "COW Parfymeri" suggested me to buy. They later offered me a job with them, but it didn't pan out), just blurring away any tiny imperfection, just like you'd edit a selfie today. And I never looked better! It just looked like my skin, but perfected. Now, I can't spend 30 minutes on my base every day (heck, I'm happy stepping out with just sunscreen these days!), but since that day (or night, actually), I learned that the coverage of a product doesn't equal how natural it looks on your skin *at all!* Later that night (or early morning*) I talked to a resident makeup artist at MIKAs Models, who told me, after some pestering, which well known people she had made up recently. She finally gave up Göran Persson (then the Swedish minister of state), and I asked whar she did on him. "Well, there wasn't that much you could do!" Oh, those were the days! #dontcallmedaddy *7 am outside Circus at Djurgården in Stockholm (same place where I tried to get into the VIP area where Anna Nicole Smith was at a previous event!]

You might wanna try the Tarte timeless smoothing primer. It's so good in the T zone & I think you could really love that primer. It also has been a favorite of Tati's for years & years.

Oh dear, that dark „purple“ eyeshadow reminds me of the ones I used to buy around 2012, when every purple just turned grey on my lids - makeup revolution were the first colourful eyeshadows I tried that stayed colourful on the lid 😂

I was a little shocked when I first used the Juicy Glow "foundation" as I don't feel like it's really a foundation at all...I have found that if I use it under a more matte foundation, it adds a nice little glow to the finish...so that is how I'm going to get rid of mine without throwing it in the garbage.

Ohhh gosh.. the final eyelook looks like something I tried in my teens - without eyeprimer, with cheap ass eyeshadows and even cheaper brushes after 5 hours in a club. How is Tarte okay with this? Send not only help but whole brigade because I don’t remember the last time you didn’t put on half lash because of eyeshadows. 😬 well there were some wins in this video. Great video:) Quick question for you, have you tried the hourglass veil retouching fluid by chance? It’s a light coverage concealer and it is the best lightweight concealer I’ve ever tried- I love it so much I bought it in a few different shades, which is very out of character for me lol.. I rarely even wear it so the fact that I bought multiples of it says a lot. But it might be too lightweight if you like a more medium coverage concealer but it’s great under the eyes, (and on the face in general) it covers just enough dark circles etc, but still gives your skin an even coloring. I just recently found your channel and subbed right away:) I love how you review so many indie brands!!💖💜

Do you ever wet your mattes? I always wet - especially a black - when I’m doing a super dark smokey eye! You should try that next time! It saves the dark shadow from getting alllll over your face, plus helps it lay down easier on the lid, similar to the way you would wet a shimmer 🤸🏼‍♀️

Qvc did a tarte tsv around Christmas, it was 3 small palettes, mascaras, lip products. Ive never returned anything but those palettes went straight back. They were absolutely terrible. The person i spoke to in the call centre said she had tried it too and it was garbage 🤣🤣🤣 i love everything else ive tried, but these were awwwful 😅

Hey Angi, what is the difference between the Glow Recipe primer and the matte primer from LH Cosmetics? Do you get similar effects from both? I’m oily in my T zone in the summer too and I love the LH Cosmetics primer (plus the blotting powder for touch ups). I also love Glow Recipe products. So I’m curious what the difference is for you and which one you think works the best at preventing all the oiliness?

The Glow Recipe one is more serumlike, its probably not as drying. I think they both stop the oils, but the LH might be even more blotting :)

Can verify that super dry skin folks who want to look dewy will LOVE the Maracuja Juicy Glow IF the shade range works for them. I like the finish and feel of it, but there's no color that matches me. I've been loving it because it give me a teeny bit of glow (VERY VERY SUPER DRY skin here...like, I've never met anyone who has skin as dry as mine..I'm sure they're out there, but it's me crying in the bathroom at the industrial soap that's going to make my hands crack and bleed) but today I saw myself in a virtual meeting and had to marvel at how orange my face looked on the screen. Not a good look.
