Did the Betta Fish Fry Fall on the Bottom of it Die?
There are a lot of people asking me the problem of betta fry falling on the bottom, in general the question is whether they die, why don't they move?
Beginners are very happy when they successfully breed betta fish. However, after the Betta fish eggs hatch, they become very anxious.
This kind of thing is very natural, I also experienced it in the past. So from my experience, I hope this can treat the anxiety of beginners.
There are two things to know about betta fry falling at this bottom.
The first falls when the fry are 1 day old or you could say they just hatched.
The second is betta fry when they are more than 4 days old.
Let's look at the first explanation, namely that the fry fall before they are 4 days old.
The fry at this bottom are very reasonable, don't worry. Because they are still in the care of male betta fish.
They fall because they haven't actually hatched, you can see, they're still round in shape, it's just a little pointy.
Why shouldn't we worry?
Because the next day they have hatched perfectly and with the help of the male betta fish they will come back again and relax under the bubble nest.
What if they look perfect but still fall to the bottom?
If they are not yet 4 days old, it is still normal, because each fry that hatches has different endurance or strength.
And if they are under 4 days old, they will be able to go up and they will live.
So if the fry are not yet 4 days old and they fall, don't worry because they are still alive and with more days, they will be able to swim well.
Except.....
If the instincts of the male betta fish are not good at caring for the fry, it can cause the death of the fry.
However, even though there are such cases it is still relatively rare.
Then what if the fry are more than 4 days old?
My experience tells me that they are dead, although sometimes some are not dead.
This is just an experience, if you have a more interesting experience to share, please write in the comments column.
