Trick plays don't disappear from the playbook after we use it. They can and have been reused to great effect just like regular plays. Ben Johnson is a master of disguise, they never see it coming. I think other players are just sick of hearing about the lions, like the Vikings player that was whining about it awhile back.

I don't think it's a throwaway as much as a backpocket sort of deal. JG was questioned on it and he basically said that Johnson came up to him and asked if he could fake a fumble. Jared responded he probably could, then it took off from there. Good trial run. There might be a good opportunity in the future to use it.

Save the play for what, when we face the Bears in the playoffs?! LOL. What the talking heads don't understand is that Ben creates plays based on what opponent we are facing. He studies their defensive tendencies and schemes for them, sets them up throughout the game with similar formations, and then pulls the trigger when the timing is right. The Stumblebum was based on Chicago's reaction to Green Bay actually fumbling and then burning them for a TD last season. That's not a play you save for someone else, Ben will create new plays for them.
