The specifics of it are they lowered the ability the railgun has at safe mode levels so that people are more enticed to use unsafe mode probably because it’s hilarious

If you hold the reload button. You can change the range for your weapon as you've already discovered; but on other weapons you can change the firing mode as well like burst or full auto; the railgun has an "unsafe" mode which does more damage but will also explode if you hold the charge too long

Hey toonz I know you probably won't see this especially since you posted this 10 days ago but something I learned that I don't think your aware of considering the gameplay I've seen but your side arm, the pistols (including the rapid fire one) if your falling back (I.e. running like hell) if you turn your camera around and just hit the fire button you'll stay sprinting and do a blind fire like motion letting you shoot behind you while sprinting forward. Hope this is helpful and informative.

My favorite thing about when the Bile Titans die is that once they fall, they literally become a terrain object. So you can climb up onto their corpse and stand tall and proud and take a screenshot of the sight of your victory over the bugs

Toonz! In the options menu, you can turn on the crosshairs so they’re always showing. This allows you to continue sprinting while shooting without having to aim. It’d not the most accurate but it does help. It also makes shooting behind you with the pistol easier! Also, if you have an MMO mouse, or a mouse with buttons on the side, you can bind like 5-8, as your Strategem buttons and are able to keep moving!

There is a command for the eagle strikes after you use at least one that lets it rearm all expended ordinance, though it will still take the same cooldown as using all the weapons.

It only works for the pistols btw just an FYI your primary or other two handed weapons force your character to turn around and shoot you also can't hit the aim button otherwise it'll turn you back around and cause you to lose speed which isn't good for your health if your in a jam and need to split

The raingun has a red bar on the right side when you aim. If you hold the reload button you can switch the gun into "unsafe" mode and it will charge up more and be more powerful. It is UNSAFE tho, and if the bar reaches the top it will explode and kill you. An almost full charge kills the chargers immediately

Next time y9u use the railgun, Hold R to switch firemodes. UnSafe allows you to charge it for even more accuracy, and even more damage, but it Can explode.

The reason it got nerfed is because it was killing creativity and toxic people demanded you used the railgun. So the devs basically said "if you can't win without the rail gun that's a skill issue" So they nerfed it. Though I'm not sure if it was already nerfed back when you were playing.
