I played with the Guardians a lot back when I was building up a collection in closed Beta, but they never felt like the reward was worth the risk. This change feels like a very nice refresh and I'm looking forward to trying out a more synergistic list than existed back then!

I swapped Maximus out of my sera control list for star lord and I’ve really liked it. it’s nice to have star lord on curve instead of Maximus whom you usually hold until turn 6 unless you’re desperate. Wouldn’t say star lord is always better but since sera doesn’t turn 1/2 very well usually I like being able to curve something out on 2 more often as the deck is mostly 3/4 costs except for Zabu/lizard

This Guardian decks seems very fun. You manipulate your opponent into playing into the lanes you want them to and get the benefit of playing the guardians to punish them. Some nice mind games.

After losing to Alioth 4 games straight, I'm done with this game until he gets nerfed. No shade to those who play him, like Regis was saying, he's strong so you should. But when a card's counter is to put yourself in a vulnerable spot every game by always jockeying for priority, it feels bad. Not to mention all the decks it chokes out that want to go second. This meta just sucks imo.

11:00 I hate Alioth, but I support using it. That's the only way SD will realize it's a problem and change it eventually. I have 2 proposals: 1) 6-4 // On Reveal: All unrevealed enemy cards here have their text removed. 2) 6-6 // On Reveal: All unrevealed enemy cards here have their Power set to 0 no matter their text. I still want to keep the spirit of the card which is to reward priority, but deleting cards it's just ridiculous. I cannot believe this cards was made and some players accept it. So I say let your opponent play out their turn but punish them by taking away their Power or Ability.

The alioth win at 10:50 is actually the strongest argument you'll ever see for why Alioth is a good card that is necessary to be in the game. It is a good thing that you can get punished for stacking a combo all in one lane and ignoring the others. The game would be significantly worse if there wasn't an all purpose counter card to that kind of cheesy gimmick combo.

Turn 6 Alioth is as dirty as a big turn 6 combo with multiple cards that flip the power after winning the entire game. Alioth is necessary, I don't care what anyone says. There are also counters to Alioth. Getting priority, cosmo one of the lanes, using your own Prof X, Leech. I've seen games where my opponent basically skips every single turn except the 4, 5, and 6 and win because of a deck like Invisible Woman Hela Discard. Thats tilting to me, I mean I spent the whole match trying to actually win and then they just do that...Alioth is a necessity.
