I've been playing a lot more Strix lately after the buff and it's made me realise a pretty significant weakness he has. He has a lot of delay. If you come out of stealth and get a kill, your gauge refills immediately but there's this awkward delay where pressing the stealth button again doesn't let you go back into it for a bit. His scope also has a lot of delay, I remember quite a long time ago now they actually nerfed the scope in time by making it longer. These two things put together make him feel very clunky to play, sometimes you'll go for a quick scope and end up no scoping instead because you fired before the scope was pulled in all the way. Sometimes you'll barely survive a fight and try to go into stealth and it doesn't work. Instead of buffing Strix's damage, these are the things they should be fixing.

yeah quick scopes feel so shitty. he has a lot of delay and doesn’t feel snappy, which goes for all paladins champions but strix especially has a lot built into his kit

Crackshot is actually a damage buff as the scope in time for strix is 0.4 seconds for max accuracy(but the animation takes a bit longer) so it literally gives you more fire rate which nets you more than 1200

Maybe if you suck at timing the shots on the scope sure...regardless even if crackshot does that its instantly wasted by taking an extra shot, sometimes extra 2-3 shots to get the kill. I have an actual clip of crackshot (granted it was from when it was first changed not current crackshot) taking 6 shots to kill an AFK player (also strix) while he was also being shot by a seris. AFK, sitting still...every shot hit + another damage source. 10 second time to kill. Its not much better now than it was then.

The problem with Strix's pistol is the effective range. 55 according to the wiki. Kinessa's carbine has a listed range of 100. 55 units is basically all or nothing range on Strix. You really don't want to be there. Once you factor in effective range and reloading due to low ammo, the dps of the pistol is far from impressive. Pistol Strix will be a thing when his pistol isn't trash.

=0 Unauthorize Use is back? sweet, i can do play with that now Unfortunately pistol strix still sucks. He’s too squishy to be running up on people like that. And his pistol isn’t strong enough. Maybe if it didn’t have a distance fall off. But regardless it’s just not viable build. It’s kinda fun. But the amount of bullets it takes to end one person is rediculous. Lex took 3 shots to end me. I almost got him with like 2 full clips. So maybe give the pistol more ammo or something. My prediction is the only people that’s gona use this are strix mains and KZbinrs. Which is awful cuz I really wish they could give strix a build where the pistol is the main weapon.

If the damage buff/cooldown reduction was slightly reduced but the duration on the damage was just a couple seconds longer to be able to get some follow up shots with the sniper it would be a perfect talent for strix.

Well, I'm a Main Strix since Unauthorized Use worked, until they nerfed it, currently it's on par with the previous Unauthorized Use But, some details to give you, you can take advantage of the 20% damage with your rifle, giving a total of 1440 per shot, and yes it's hard But you can, the thing is simple, you flank, you shoot with the rifle, and you wipe with flare and pistol blast, end, I'm not entirely sure if the 20% increased damage benefits everyone why I tested it and I have the feeling they removed that option when reintegrating the legendary, if someone can confirm it would be great. Strix is not strong, but actually he can defend himself and in good hands become a strong carry, from the games I played 7/10 I got more than 20 kills, the reason to have a good balance between defense and offense is the key.

Overburn doesn't affect the duration of the damage over time, it only affects the reveal, it doesn't affect the debuff

meh, part of being a good strix is to not even bother with the pistol except for flare and i dont think that has changed even with this talent.
