Currently four time a year the White Creek Railroad hosts meets where 50 to 75 people bring locomotives and run trains like on a model railroad. I have many videos from these meets on my channel. Thanks for watching.

This is a private track near Grand Rapids Michigan. There are a couple club tracks in Michigan. The Mid Michigan Railroad is by Turkeyville near Marshal Michigan.
@fiddlyphuk641414 күн бұрын
That's more track than some of the shorter full scale X-fer railroads. Very cool.

Thanks for that Christmas joy ride. Everything went perfect. No long walk back, or worst, with no one to help, what a long push, or pull, or stay there, i´ll pick you up in spring after thaw... Pretty long run with a snowplow clearing the track. With a snow blower, sort of when it´s finish, it snowed again. How big is the club ? (Ok read it 5 miles) Wish you a pleasant 2025 with many rides.
@steamlogger17 күн бұрын
I broke down on the far side of the railroad before. It happened during a meet when everyone else went for dinner. It was a long walk back. Then, after dinner, I was able to get a ride out to my train and make temporary field repairs. Thanks for watching

Around 24:52 may have been what caused the front truck problem. Branch across the line.

@@steamloggerAbsolutely agree. Saw the stick before you hit it, thought "boy, I hope that doesn't derail him", then WHAM. It appeared from there to the end of the ride you were level or downhill, so you may not notice a loss of power until climbing the next day. One more thing....PLEASE mic yourself while narrating a ride. The trainset wheel noise is very low, but even cranking up the volume I can only understand your comments once in a while. Love the video!
@steamlogger16 күн бұрын
I remember that stick. I was getting cold by then and wasn't paying attention to the track ahead until it was too late.
@mikemurphy771116 күн бұрын
@@steamlogger You did a great job with video, just ignore the perfectionist asking to use a separate mic, your phone did just fine! And the noise is great, is what makes railroading fun!

It wasn't too bad in the woode. When I stopped by the yard and the windmill was really spinning, I noticed it. I didn't miss going to Cornertown too much when the track was plowed the other way at Apple Tree Junction.
