That is one thing that is very obvious on one of my other favorite scambaiting channels, Romance Scammers And Online Scams. She baits romance scammers, most of whom are from Nigeria, and they end 99% of sentences with an "ok." It is just so glaringly obvious when you see dozens (or hundreds) of very short messages spanning days, weeks or months. "My name is Jones Michael ok." "I am an orthopedic surgeon doctor ok." "We need to get to ourselves better in trust and honesty ok." "I'm not a scammer ok."

Lesson learned, don't give out your real phone number and make sure your number is 110% fake. Because these are totally the people who would give out your number and accuse you of things they did. It's odd, because saying okay at the end of a sentence seems normal to me specifically if you're upset, for example, "I'm almost done, ok?" But in an email it looks like part of a scam.

Depends on the state. It's illegal in a lot of U.S. states, but not all. I don't know which state Pleasant Green is in. But I don't think anyone should ever talk on the phone while driving.

Finley: It is quite a normal expression in the UK. As in would you kindly stop doing that. Or would you kindly F ...off. It just adds an extra layer of sarcasm. In letters, it is often added when requesting the other person to do something, ie add an attachment, photo, or to expedite something. Just one of the pleasantries we Brits litter our speech with. Being from Nigeria, the scammer has probably picked up slightly archaic words from whoever taught him English. Nigeria was also a former British colony, so lots of British influences still linger there. I lived with Nigerians when I was student many years ago. The cadences or rhythms of the scammer's speech brought back memories.
