The Majin boosts allowed Spopovich to survive Videl snapping his neck 180 degrees. If Vegeta doesn't have that ability after losing the Majin mark, then I think it's unlikely that he kept the boost. He even lost his unnaturally veiny appearance.

The goku ss2 portion of that fight was filler. Plus kid buu was warming up regardless, it'd be hard for someone that's been fighting ss3 to go back down to 2 and not make it look like a joke. If we go by cells logic, or supers God logic,if a saiyan gets a taste of a higher power level, they seem to retain some of it afterward. The Veiny juiced appearance was most likely due to how roided out the spell and the situation made him, he was at full power and piiiiissseeed off at that point.

Kid Buu is about the same power as the second Fat Buu on supreme Kai's planet however what made Kid Buu so deadly is his super fast regeneration since he is in his original pure state and that's why he was able to even beat Super Saiyan 3 Goku who was stronger than Kid Buu but lost since Goku's SSJ3 drains him quickly and Kid Buu can regenerate instantly without losing any health or stamina no matter how many times you blast him to nothing. Also the only thing that could have killed Kid Buu was another Majin or the spirit bomb which damages beings the more evil they are and since Buu is 100% evil the spirit bomb would destroy his powerful evil magic regeneration

​​​@@Mikey04251I share this view when it comes to the manga, but in the anime there are apparently a couple of remarks by Goku and the narrator in the original before dubbing that suggests that Kid Boo is the strongest Boo! But it really depends on which you take as source material or whether or not you think the anime sufficiently expands upon source material! Goku's fight with Bootenks as an SSJ3 and teaming up with Vegeta as an SSJ2 against Boohan and base Super Boo's mini avatar inside his head didn't happen in the manga! They also never fought or encountered round worms in Boo's body or fake Z-fighters in his head that the Daizenshuu said were comparable to the real thing in power (though I believe in shrunken down less than a hundredth of size and power state like Goku and Vegeta were while inside Boo). That being said though I would still say in the anime enraged Boohan was stronger than Kid Boo, since Super Vegetto struggled to break through his defenses! But Boohan enraged state isn't the norm for Boo's power, so Kid Boo can still be argued stronger! The other thing is that the Buff Boo form Kid Boo got absorbing South Supreme Kai might be stronger than Kid Boo, since in the source material it was stated by Kibitoshin that it was only after absorbing the Grand Supreme Kai that Boo got weaker!

Thanks for the support. Whenever I do collabs it’s typically for a topic I think is best reserved for one. As a result, there is no alternative solo video that would have been made. Or, in my estimation the video ends up being better than one I would have made on my own. Sometimes, I come up with topics just because I think it would be fun to do a collaboration with another channel. Like my dual series with Geekdom101 where we compare movies and arcs. Personally, I think recent videos such as my collab with Blackenfist “Why The Androids Didn’t Obey Doctor Gero” are far more insightful than if I had done that topic on its own because of the interesting perspective Juan supplied. Just as my upcoming video about Gravity Training will be with another channel I finally had the pleasure of working with. But, I appreciate that you and many others enjoy or even prefer my solo content. Great video. I always believed Vegeta did keep the power Babidi unlocked for him just like Gohan in Namek. But considering how strong each Buu was, it ended up just been pointless. But if Vegeta had somehow reached SS3 at some point now that would be a whole other story. How about a new What if (it's not Vegeta related but I still like it) What if Dende had been more proactive during Cell and Buu saga? And yes proactive meaning he plays Healer for everyone. I am pretty sure a healed Trunks after getting a hole in his chest and SS2 Gohan getting his arm healed would have obliterated super Perfect Cell in a blink.

Even though it's easy to overlook it was stated by trunks that gohan is just a smidgen stronger than ssj3 gotenks so it can be argued that ultimate/mystic gohan is roughly equal to ssj3 gotenks ( making goku's and vegeta's anime feat against clone ultimate gohan and clone ssj3 gotenks respectively could be seen as being basically the same feat for ssj goku and vegeta)

IIRC Toriyama said that "zenkai" boosts (the boosts Saiyans get from near-death experiences or struggling in battle) were still a thing after the Namek Saga, it's just at that point, everyone is so strong that the boosts are negligible, too small to make any difference.

We've seen the bodies of Sayians (and Cell), remember the power level of temporary forms before, and later access it or retain a large portion of it. I would be willing to say that Vegeta retained part of the power in the form of a zenkai boost, but was easily able to reach the same level again fairly easily thanks to the sayian biology. He did however lose a good portion of the durability that the Majin form would have given him, as the magic of Babadi is gone.

For Spopovich, he lost his hair and got twice as much visible muscle mass. Everyone under Babadi's control also had the Majin mark on them as something akin to a tattoo. I would call it a transformation, though a forced one.

In the Otherworld you never get tired,your body can take more,you dont need to eat etc and Goku had MANY people to train with and teachers to learn from In the Cell Games Goku had stated that he was already near his full potential,but absorbing god ki unlocked a whole new world for him. The Otherworld allowed him to get much stronger and achieve SSJ3,all due to his dead body advantages. Thats the difference between a low class saiyan and a super elite,Vegeta is naturally superior but Goku gets more advantages,more teachers,trained more,more training partners,more emotions that help him with transformations and overall a better mentality that helps with growth. But Vegeta is genetically superior and has more potential but his attitude cost him a lot of growth. He didnt need a dead body or god ki to get much stronger than Cell Games Goku

I want to say he did or at the very least kept the power he got from the majin boost, because in later lore when Goku fought Beerus and went super sayian god fron a ritual but the ritual wore off Goku was still able to tap into that power because he had experienced it before. Almost like a weight lifter that hits a new high they can do it again after the fact. So maybe Vegeta got a boost but more than likely he still had a similar level of power otherwise Goku wouldn't have thought the fusion would have worked because the fighters have to be of similar power for the fusion to truly work and you create a stronger fighter.

People need to understand that zenkai boosts are from near death experiences. Vegeta killing himself does not fit that criteria, obviously. Saying that he kept the majin boost is very, very unlikely. There is literally no in context evidence or statements that prove he does. It's a boost from babadi, signified by his insignia that can turn a character that hercule can beat to being able to survive his head being spun around 180 by videl. It also obviously gave all of babadi's minions a significant boost in power from the contrxt of the manga. Revived vegeta is most likely weaker than majin vegeta, somewhere between ssj2 gohan and majin vegeta. His feats vs kid buu is very debatable, kid buu is such a difficult character to judge in terms of how hard it is really trying. He could have gone into that scenario 10 different times and not lasted 10 seconds, depending on how kid buu played it. Vegeta also underestimates opponents in almost every single fight he is in, his confidence against kid buu is not surprising honestly and he clearly stands no chance against him in a one on one scenario. I think it's a strange conclusion to tell you're audience that he most likely kept that significant of a boost without proper evidence.

Fat buu does almost kill him, but there is no implication that it made him any stronger. They always have to be healed first. I feel like the best description for a zenkai boost would be someone in real life doing bicep curls to the absolute limit and recovering to gain muscles from the process, but if you go too far and tear the muscle while working out (die in dbz) then you aren't going to make a gain from that.

it's hard to say if vegeta kept his boost or not but it is possible that he kept to the extent that after the control of babidi, vegeta resisted babidi and remained free to fight against goku then fat buu so we can say that despite the loss of control of babidi, vegeta kept his power up against fat buu and that once he died and then returned, it is possible that this new power up remained in his body but it's not sure because we don't know how babidi magic work however this story of death zenkai does not make sense, nothing in the manga shows that a sayen becomes stronger after his death, it would not even make sense, zenkai is a mechanism that makes sayen stronger if he manages to survive and they are close to death, it is a mechanism that makes him become stronger when they face great danger but this mechanism can not take into account the resurrection, when you are dead, you are supposed to stay dead only dragon balls, a mystical power that goes far beyond the race of sayen, can resuscitate the only thing we know is that zenkai is to be stronger after surviving a state close to death and that zenkai has been more or less abandoned by toryama since the end of the namek arc people should stop talking about zenkai death as if zenkai knew about dragon balls, zenkai exists precisely because it is supposed to give a boost for a sayen close to death, if he dies it's game over

I've always saw it as biological armor, the body learns and adapts from the experience. So logically it's an acceptable theory that they can receive Zenkai boosts after they are revived and their body is returned the the physical realm.

If zenkai was still a thing during the later sagas, coming back from the afterlife doesn't count as a zenkai because it isn't a survival from a near dead experience, but it is a dead, you should be naturally alive to get zenkai, and not turning back to life thanks to external factors. Honestly, it's never been a question I've asked myself. Vegeta doesn't retain the Majin boost.

Vegeta did decent against fat buu but his fight really shows the huge Gap between ssj2 & ssj3 > you need ssj2 bare minimum just to “play” with buu

I believe Vegeta did or else he would have been so severely outclassed by even a SSJ2 Goku around the Kid Buu fight, that it would have been completely pointless for him to have even attempt to fight Kid Buu.

He kept the potential unlock but lost the Majin durability. Unrelated, all the minions with a Majin boost get a form of durability like Majin Buu.

Laughingstock Media... In your opinion, how powerful Gohan would become if actually train for 7 Years.. Realistically He should of Trained. There is no reason that she would prevent Gohan from training.. As a reasonable woman, she would allow him to train As long as he keeps up his studies... I'm just saying that with the training, I'm just pointing out that if he's going to have the ultimate form that he should at least be Worthy and Show Hints That he still has a lot of dormant power in him before He obtains the ultimate form.

Im going to type this here because the other video is 4 years old but its obvious that only certain energies can defeat Buu and the Spirit Bomb was the only technique Goku had that could do it. Reasons Why: (Keep read for the best evidence. I'm saving that for last) **Disclaimer! : NOTHING IN SUPER IS VALID HERE. Super came 10years later and has completely different logic. Jiren dont exist *** 1. Watch the first 5 minutes of Laughingstock's video breaking down the lore of the spirit bomb and how it seeks evil 2. Buu was ATOMIZED many times (waaaay worse than Cell) and still regeneration. Power of the move had no effect on his regen. 3. God Ki and demon energy can kill Buu this can explain why Buu IMMEDIATELY went to run Dabura's fade (although Dab was still to weak to do anything regardless of type advantage). Supreme Kai did the best against Fat Buu despite being weaker than everyone there. Ultimate Gohan, who HAD God Ki until Super destroyed everything, was the only one who could do longterm physical damage to Buu 4 (BEST EVIDENCE): While fighting Kid Buu, Goku obliterated him many times and it did nothing. But when he spit out fat Buu and they started fighting, Vegeta said something VERY important: "Kakarot LOOK! The 2 Buus are damaging each other and their energies are decreasing!". Then, after crunching the numbers for a second, Vegeta IMMEDIATELY suggest that Goku uses the Spirit Bomb. #4 By itself is really enough but when combined with the other 3 reasons, its a clear cut 100% certainty that the Spirit Bomb was the only thing GOKU or VEGETA couldve done to defeat Buu

I believe he kept his power after death if not stronger and his Majin abilities. You made me laugh about something Mike- You said that both Kakarrot and Bejita are small when they are mocking Kid Boo. What are you talking about? Kakarrot isn't small. Bejita is small and he is about the same highet as me in real life if he was real. I just wonder how tall is the freaking hair, it looks like between 20-30 cm of hair.

I'd say no. So ss2 goku vs kid buu was stronger than ss2 vegeta. Vegeta likely already knew this otherwise he would've challenged goku at his standard ss2 form

So far we see that whenever someone gains a large amount of energy from a transformation and then loses it the transformation, an advanced martial artist's body is able to rememeber the power and is then to utilize it in battle. We first saw this with Cell retaining his perfect form after blowing himaelf up, then we saw it with Vegeta and his Majin potential unlock after blowing himself up, then we saw it with Goku mainting his god power after losing the super saiyan god transformation against Beerus.
