It takes a true person to say mistakes are okay. So many people today are afraid of making mistakes and that they will be judged. But what if I told you the sky wouldn't fall if you started being you? What if I told you the world wouldn't end if you started showing what's under your skin? This goes to everyone including me who is so afraid of the world. Be YOU and only YOU. you get one chance, dont ruin it. Love your vlogs DayByDay. Keep it up with the wonderful videos!

People are so quick to judge, but horses are a learning process. Up until this year, I didn’t know much about equine nutrition, but, now that I’ve become educated, I have fixed my feeding program. Like everything, it takes time to do things the “right” way with horses, and then again, there never really is a “right” way. Everyone is always going to have their opinion or do things differently than you do, but I wouldn’t pay any mind to it. I’m glad you guys put your “mistakes” in these videos. It shows that you are real and human, but mostly, it shows your growth from the beginning to where you’re at. Y’all are awesome and I enjoy watching you!

Kitty&mala W Okay first of all, they did treat the thrush. They do not video every single part of their lives. They did treat the thrush and that’s why they rode Storm lightly yesterday. They’re getting another horse because they do not want to continue to push storm just because Gabby wants to jump. So that’s why they’re getting another horse. It’s not for you to critique every single thing that they do. Please, if you don’t have anything kind or helpful to say, don’t say anything.

I couldn't agree more to your comments regarding social media. As someone with eating disorders and serious body confidence issues, the majority of social media makes out that everyone is flawless and perfect. That people don't cry or look a mess some days. Photoshop and editing making people look like someone completely different. I find myself having to come off social media every so often, just to stay grounded and remind myself that it isn't healthy to dwell on how others look or behave. It's a scary world these days, especially for youngsters growing up in world full of comparisons and "perfection". I know I wouldn't like to be a teen in this day and age
@DayByDayVlogs5 жыл бұрын
I agree Maggie! The pressure to be and look perfect is so real! I don't fit in that world because I'm never gonna look.perfect. I only have time for living not for perfection. I want to live every second I have! For me, love is where it's at! Love yourself and others will follow because when you love yourself you become amazing! Those are my rules for me! I mean the small mistakes that Laura made that one time when Finn nocked her over, it was all Laura’s fault in that manner cause she didn’t take caution I surely wouldn’t want them teaching me. So for me and your channel, it's not that you make mistakes, because you're right. I really liked your message in today's vlog, everyone makes mistakes and that's okay. Always be real and you. But for me, and it's not your guy's fault at all, I think it's just some stuff I need to work on, it's that you guys have the gift of wealth. Most people do not have the money to do all the things you get to do. You guys get to buy 5+ horses each for a good amount of money. I have one horse that we bought for $800. Plus the fact that he wasn't perfect for me so we are making so many more mistakes and it hurts me when we don't do things right. For me I have to feel accomplished after riding. So if I didn't do something right but the lessons ended, I will do it after the lesson. Also that fact that you guys do get to have a farm and be with your horses all the time. I want to ride everyday but we don't have time. So ya, I just wanted to put that out there, it's okay if nobody sees this XD and I'm really sorry if this comment sounds hateful I actually do really enjoy and support you guys. ❤

@@leotabeingbroke1556 A 800 dollar horse! My pony was bought for somewhere around 700 to 750, so I get you. I also understand the need to feel accomplished after a ride, and how sometimes you just don't seem to make any progress. Don't give up on your horse just yet. Shorty, my pony, wasn't perfect at all. At the time we bought him, it would seem he wasn't a good horse for me. Actually we didn't buy him for me, we bought him for the whole family, and because of his troubles he just kinda became mine. I also understand the part about not being able to ride everyday. I have a small outdoor arena. It is small, and when it rains one part of it floods with mud, so if you ride, you can't ride through that part of it. The weather can just ruin riding plans. Sorry for this long comment, it is just that I relate so hard to you with your riding struggles!

I think it’s SUPER important to take what people say with a grain of salt!! People probably need to just worry about themselves! I’m amazed by the people who say, you shouldn’t buy that or you can’t do this. I think people speak mostly out of jealousy and some people are just simply negative. If you have that ability, time, space, inclination, etc., to buy another horse OR horses, well you go for it!! There’s never too many horses! You do what you feel is best and the rest be damned!

I agree. I think because social media is in a whole nother level that it gets hard. Imagine hearing the same thing 1000k times. The having people private message you 1000k and the emails . DayByDay Vlogs You know what?? I think it’s ok to say that to them! If these people are bold enough to spread negativity, well then they should be able to handle hearing how nasty they sound! You’re dealing with a TON of young folks here that need that “mom” reality check! They need to hear that just because they use “no hate BUT,” doesn’t mean what they are saying isn’t hateful!! Believe me if I see any of that mess I’m saying something to them!!! I think a good number of your adult viewers (and likely some of the kids too) would happily advise folks to keep nastiness to themselves!!!

Imo no one should be judging because they are not there, they are not living your life . Only you know what is best for you at any specific time. And imo making mistakes is the best way to learn and grow. If the judgy people are absolutely perfect well great for them, but in real life no one is ever perfect and things go wrong and you grow and learn from it. It is your life, if you want twenty horses go for it. They are all happy, healthy and well cared for . I appreciate how you share your lives with us warts and all ,don't ever change 💕💕💕💕🏇

Good idea not to buy Jonney! He’s gorgeous but if you can afford it a school master is definitely the best option! And then gabby can get a project in a few years!

If Gabby does get a horse that is very well trained I think gabby will injoy a little break from bolting

Don’t listen to those haters in the comment section. They are just jealous of how successful you and your family are. They are jealous of how many good things happened to you. God rewarded your family for being good people. #doyourownthing Love your channel! I would never say anything bad about anyone!

You guys are imperfect just like all the rest of us. Mistakes are the only way to learn. Anyone who is spewing hate for no reason is just jealous.

I think people forget or new people dont know, Sophie is 10. Laura didnt know anything about horses . She was not raised with horses. It is amazing to see how far this family has come.

No one is perfect and we learn from our mistakes, we learn how to cope when things go not to plan as that happens all the time. You are so right Laura the world of social media is difficult, many people don’t show there issues and how to work with them and then when you do people think it’s OK to be mean if you do make mistakes.

What an amazing lesson and journey you are going through. There will always be people who disagree with the way we live our lives. However it is our journey and yes! Everyone makes mistakes. You’re teaching your kids that it’s ok to not be perfect. There is not one person on this planet that is ( although there are many that think they are lol) gosh if I didn’t live in Oz I know I would really like you, you are raising your kids like me. It’s ok not to be perfect! Make mistakes and live and learn. 💕

Hey Laura, here's a tip on the GPS... let's say Gabby didn't put your address in it for you. You can ask Siri for directions to.. and put in your home address and then it'll automatically load and say directions to your house. Also, I agree with you about the camera. Since it's also a business expense you can use it as a tax write-off... I guess, you're in a different country than me. lol

Oh good to know about siri! I use android but it still might work

Maybe Sam is right about Johnny not being the right horse for Gabby. To me he had a temperament like Storm I mean he seemed to need urging to work but that could be because he hadn’t been worked consistently. Gabby will find the right horse at the right time. To all the people who are mean and nasty to you I say try to ignore them yah it hurts to see them but rise above them.
@DayByDayVlogs5 жыл бұрын
I think Johnny had a better personality then any horse I have ever met.he was brave and fun and gentle and kind. Handled the kids with ease. Not spooky. The horse was amazing
@dorothymerrell60915 жыл бұрын
DayByDay Vlogs Maybe you can change Sam’s mind about a horse that is Trillium ready. I guess in the long run if Johnny is right for Gabby then you should get him.

"For all of you guys who think we are just collecting horses who cares if we can collect horses who cares they are our horses we can collect whatever we want" First things I am obviously a bit late on your vlog and I understand what you are trying to say but the way you said it was almost concerning because "they are our horses we can collect whatever we want" Mostly correct yeah but at the same time no because eventually a line is drawn. Just the way you said it make it sound like someone who doesn't take the time for their horses would say that but I am sure that isn't the case with yours. Also out of curiosity what are your plans for each of your horses?

Ah, it is a shame about Johnny, but I know you’ll find a great horse! There is one meant to be out there! Honestly, it took me about half a year of trying and looking at different horses who either were not something I needed, or they didn’t pass a vet check. But then, one faithful day, I found my mare. It can be frustrating sometimes, but when the right horse comes along, you’ll know!
