So true, YSL Libre is one of my all time favs while some of the others she mentioned literally make me gag. It’s so subjective and dependent how it works with your own body chemistry, so I always recommend people try out perfumes before buying into hype

The way black opium has me in a chokehold should be illegal. I get so many compliments when I wear it. One time my hairstylist said I smelled captivating and then a guy yelled across the parking lot “you got the air smelling good” that’s when I knew that was my scent 😂

I just bought it because I wanted a nice warm and spicy perfume as opposed to my usual candy fruity scents but it smells just like jasmine and pear on me, no vanilla or coffee. I like it but I thought it was more darker and sexier. Maybe it’s just my body chemistry 😞

Baccarat Rouge 540 is a fragrance that got hyped because it’s looked at as a sign of richness to me! Like it is such a beautiful fragrance but when people want to fit in they will water down things quickly! I love this concept because it is so fun. We have similar taste in fragrance,

Yeah, I can see that. I got a chance to sample it and absolutely love the scent, but it's way out of my price range. Luckily I've been able to find a good dupe with Zara's Red Temptation. It doesn't have the same longevity, but it was under $30

Black Opium was the first real fragrance I owned. It was circa 1984 and I was in high school. My boyfriend gifted to me...I can't remember for what occasion. You could not tell me nothing! I felt so grown and sophisticated. Nice to know you consider it a top fragrance.

You’re not lying about that Love Don’t Be Shy. That was a GAME CHANGER for me as someone who LOOOOOVES scents and smelling super good. You don’t even need to spray this but two times on your person, and people will break their necks wondering what smells so good! It made me fall in love with Kilian. I didn’t even care about the price point, I just knew I had to have it when I smelled the sample that came with the perfume I actually purchased. I can’t speak highly enough about it.

The Fenty perfume is hit or miss for me every time I use it because it smells like Blue Magic to me. It smells like blue magic with a little bit of additional sweetness and warmth and perhaps it’s because I grew up in my mom’s hair salon, but I can’t get past that scent. It feels nostalgic but also like it shouldn’t be perfume.

Honestly with YSL Black Opium I agree, I sat on it for years about buying it due to how it smelled on me. I think I was forcing myself to love it because of the Hype. I think perfume/cologne is fluid and can be loved and enjoyed by everyone! but I am happy sticking to content that focuses on women. I am a woman and I enjoy bringing our perspectives to the forefront. All are absolutely still welcome to enjoy my content! but if content for men is what you’re looking for it’s always best to find men to support as opposed to finding one person hoping they’ll appeal to all and then the content creator (me!) gets stuck having to always do that which I don’t want. 🤗

Fenty definitely grew on me. It just so unique. I also wasn’t sure AT FIRST. But I wear it a couple times a week now. I typically love unisex or musky scents so Fenty fits me well.

30 years ago, I was gifted with Chanel #5. I fell instantly in love with the packaging, but try as I might, the sent was just too mature for me. It did make me venture to the Chanel counter, though. I found #19 was more me. Then, when Mademoiselle came to my attention a couple of years later, it became my staple scent. Then came Chance.. mmm. So, for the past, God knows how many years I wear Mademoiselle during Autumn/Winter, Chance Spring/Summer, and #19 for weddings. But I will be checking out that Love don't be shy.. I'm intrigued 🤔 PS: I was also gifted a bottle of Givenchy Amarige 30+ years ago.. it drove men wild! One guy in a club even said its name as I walked past him and wouldn't leave my side the entire evening 🤣

So I guess you’d hate standing next to me then because that YSL Libre has definitely become my signature scent now 😂😂😂. Long story short my boyfriend and I love smelling good all the time even when going to bed. He has an obsession with colognes and got into also buying me perfumes, and of course I’ll buy my own too. Currently my favorites are Chloe, that Valentino you showed, Black Opium from YSL, and then YSL Libre. Libre was the most recent one he got me and I fell in looove with it lol. And even though I like sweeter scents on him, for Christmas one of his gifts I got for him was Jazz Club from Margiela. He really loves that scent, he was so happy 😂😂

I love Rihanna's perfume. I usually spray my wrists and neck and by the end of the day at work (at a hospital where I wash my hands practically around the clock), I can still smell the perfume! I definitely use it sparingly because it is strong, but I love it!

100% agree on the Baccarat Rouge - bought it and was not a fan. It smells like candy. I do like to layer it with other scents though.

I have always agreed with everyone on Chanel no 5 until I tried the l’eau version. It lasts like a parfum but it’s so much softer and nicer. I don’t think I’ll ever give it up 😂
