Finally a Quintorious Deck from @Sloth. Most underrated Planeswalker imo. Btw, it's great in decks with turn < 3 token creation and [[Caretaker's Talent]]. The tokens it makes are 5/4 lol

I made a very simalar deck with 3 quntous and 3 chandra. I put one copy of Hit the motherlode in. Which is the funniest move ever when it gets copied by chardra on the board. I am beating meta occulus and posion decks with this. I am so happy we have this mazemind tome in standard now.

Sounds amazing, love this kind of big spells, especially when doubled :D Chandra is one of the coolest planeswalkers in Standard atm, wish we have seen her more - and she is incredibly powerful with so many different strategies:) About Tome, well, I'm the biggest fan^^ ❤️🦥

Day 82 of commenting every day until the recommendation system wakes up and Sloth has 100k subscribers! This was so much fun! I wish WotC encouraged more magic in this style, instead of printing 1 drops with infinite value, and more card text than most 4 drops, or aggro with more card draw than blue that punishes opponents for interacting with them.

@SlothMtg control w/ authority is my kind of deck. Curious if you considered Stroke of Midnight over Make Your Move? Latter doesn't hit Planeswalkers.

Yeah, I think it's style-choice as I just really like to have full control over the game, so no 1/1 wandering around. After I think about it - I think in this type of deck stroke is usually worse, because taking 1 damage to face, is no big deal, but taking 1 loyalty damage on Planeswalkers is a huge problem, so I think Make Your Move just fits deck a bit better after all :)

Miss it? I've had a mardu Superfriends deck with quintorius, elspeth, kaya, and emperor for over a month. It's got a 80% winrate over almost 200 games. Lol Little different tho but same idea. Great against most meta

Even funnier, people like CGB have been saying planeswalkers are too slow for the meta but I got 4 superfriend decks that have close to 80% winrate. The meta can't handle multiple planeswalkers paired with control. Even other control decks get out valued by planeswalkers everytime

Eyy that was my Jund deck with Tyvar, I do run 3 Faeries in 1 drop red Kellan, I run 6 Duress/Ego drain for disruption, and I run Searslicer Goblins, with Tyvar being my top end, it feels so good to swing in using Tyvar overwhelm
