Did We See a Big Drop in Sales After a Record Week at the Laundromat?

Last week we set a record for quarters collected at the laundromat. I was not expecting it after a slow holiday weekend. Will we keep it up this week or see a big slow down?

People still getting back on schedule...didn't come Labour Day, but came after did a big wash. So then lower week. And if your weather has been swinging like ours between cool and Hot , school kids drawing on summer and fall wardrobes, less urgency to wash. Transitional season! 😊😊

Don't forget school is starting and parents will be getting new schedules for doing laundry shopping and other Norma stuff so you will get different weeks of high and low counts

You should of asked the mobile mechanic for he works on machines or knows someone who does ..maybe a missed opportunity for back up repairman

A possibility to increase dryer capacity is to swap those 30# stacks for 50# stacks. There may be enough room toward the front of the store to accomodate them. Then sell the 30# machines to offset some of the cost.

That would be dropping from 2 30s to 1 50 though. It would drop capacity

You mentioned you'd be making a video on a service to recover repair costs from tenants. Could you provide the name of the service in the meantime? Used to use rent recovery but they have shut down

Ya need to advertise to campers and truckers about the Laundromat

Go look at the machines and offer $30k or so(or whatever you think they are worth). Make sure they have your contact info then wait them out if they don't immediately accept. Have you thought about contacting all the distributors in your area for a quote on some new machines? Once you get all the quotes, accidentally attach all the quotes and email back too all. Tell them to come back with something more competitive.

Your prices are super low, much higher in our area. 60s are 8.50 and up. I'm charging 6.50 for 40s and I'm low for the area. And I'm in the Midwest.

Correct Mark, that is literally how math works. A record, means it's that maximum you have earned. You would statistically always see a drop, always, after a record. Math isn't your strongpoint, is it?

I know you live to troll and we love trolls ever since Pablo left. Here's a few things to thing about. I used the word "big" which would indicate a larger than normal drop. And, if we had another record there would not be a drop woild there?

@@investfourmore This isn't a troll, I am entirely serious. If you hit your maximum, the only way is to go down, otherwise you would have a new record (maximum). Is this how you treat one of your original followers? I had been a follower already for years when you posted that red house with asbestos siding, 7 years ago. Nice.
