You can’t hit first. He didn’t push her, or even threaten her. She assaulted him. Judy is 100% with her up to that point, but you can’t just physically assault whoever you want. Maybe Judy will prove me wrong in part 3, and we can, but I would be shocked.

@@RLucas3000 Idk how exactly the law works in U.S. but I believe the 2 meter rule of personal space is international. If someone feels threatened for his safety by an individual for any reason it can justify action in my knowledge. But you must prove that, else you get assault charges instead of self defence.

Classic case of a person doing something wrong, gets called out on it, and instead of acknowledging the issue and trying to fix it - starts up a much bigger altercation for no real good reason. Hes literally trying to shift the blame from himself for walking his dog outside without a leash to this woman for defending herself and her dogs against his uncontrolled dog. And then he gets in her face as if he wants to start a fight? This guy is a complete tool.

Years ago I had a neighbor who had the meanest medium to small size dog I ever came across. All the neighbors knew of this dog (apartment community) One day after work, I was walking my chihuahua, and that damn dog broke the screen on his lanai, and flew down the sidewalk after my dog. I scooped up my little dog in time, then proceeded to kick that dog until it ran back home. I didn't give a flying flip if I hurt it (it didn't appear that I did). I love all dogs, but a crazy dog comes at my dog, I'll do anything to protect it.

Accidents happen. If he had grabbed the dog, apologized sincerely and tried to make amends I would forgive him. But you have to take responsibility you just have to. That’s why you train your dog, get better leashes or find a safer way to walk them.

It takes a real monster to kick a dog. I think she must have kicked AT IT, but not actually tried to kick it(full on contact). He absolutely got in her face and was most likely loud and threatening. If he was close enough for her to jab him with the flashlight in her hand, he was waaay too close.

I wouldn't think twice about kicking a dog that came up to us aggressively without a leash. And I wouldn't regret it after. Doesnt make me a monster at all.
