Thank you both for the great video. It sounds like there used to be a lot more fun things like the movie theater, Katie Bells and a diving board at one of the pools. Hopefully as time goes on we'll see bigger and better things. The Villages is a very unique and special place. I love all the flowers and beautiful palm trees. Hi, Debbie and Jan. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for all of the information you provide. I did a lifestyle visit in July and loved it. My concern is home and auto insurance. I have heard others say their premiums have increased quite a bit this year (2023). Would you be able to address this in one of your videos? Thanks very much for all you do.

Yes, this is a big concern for many here. Our insurance rates have doubled since 2015 for our home. The car has gone up slightly, but not quite as bad. We will put this on our list! Thank you for watching!

I watch videos posted by Dave Monty, an MLS realtor who lives just outside The Villages. He posted a video a few days ago stating that he was able to get homeowners insurance on a 2,000 square ft block & stucco home for under $1,000. Don't know what his deductible is. He listed the website he used to get this insurance in the video. He also detailed how he shopped for auto insurance in this video.

Did you know that if you take a small traffic cone and place it on the hood of the self driving car its stops? Good to know if one goes rogue. Also, they get confused on cul de sacs.

Thanks for another great video! I knew about the buffalo because of Dave's and Brenda's video about the airplane community that borders the Villages and the plane crash there that killed Ozzy Osbourne's personal assistant and a band member! I did not know that other things. Looks like covid ruined alot of nice things in addition to all the other devastation is wracked.

Do you have any golf course reviews for outside TV? Some nearby courses seem to be cheaper.

Hi Mark! We know people who have played some of the surrounding courses. They are cheaper and many times have deals (like hot dog and drink etc), but it seems the consensus is usually “it’s ok, but not as nice as TV. My husband has played in Del Webb and he said it was OK. The convenience of the courses, their condition and having our own carts is a lot of what keeps us playing local. My Mother’s niece, and her husband have lived in the Villages, since it way called Lady Lake. They love it-But, if I can……Did you know……It’s time for casino gambling to come to the Villages. Maybe two casinos. It would be extremely popular. I really enjoy your segment, and both of you ladies are very attractive.

I split my residence between Staten Island, N.Y., and Las Vegas, and in Vegas we have a gal named Ruby who has a monthly, forward, review of everything Vegas for that month. These, like what both of you ladies do, is very informative, and helpful to the residents there. I’ll continue to watch, I enjoyed it!
