OBNE reverbs are seriously the best at 100% wet ambience. Completely transforms your instrument. I use Dark Star a lot to create faux strings sounds

Gorgeous sounds! Dark Star is unmatched in its beauty. One of my favorite tricks is taking an expression ramper that can do random and putting it on delay mode creating a broken reverb with random pitch bends. The Pedal Brains Left Brain is great for this!

I'm pretty new to your channel but wanted to thank you for what you do. I've never really understood the appeal of ambient reverbs until your videos. The amount of work you put into them is very apparent in their quality. I'm more of a "traditional" blues/classic rock player, but seeing what you do with these pedals has been super inspiring. I've currently got my eye on either the OBNE Dark Star or Walrus Audio Lore for my first ambient pad reverb. Maybe one day I'll be rocking both - Dark Star in the front of my chain and Lore in the back. 😅

Don't buy the V2. It's being discontinued and a V3 will follow with presets and some updates. Darklight was a cash grab and so is this. Don't fall for it.
