don't buy this game : its indeed the weakest p3 version shockingly enough, casualized for mass appeal missing core content worse VA work worse cutscenes injected agenda (lgbt badge added in the opening animation, removed gay guy at the beach pretending to be a girl, character dialogue changed cause they didn't do well in school and can't have a black character say that) toned down combat by over powering the player it is a worse version with higher visuals that wants to be p5 but weaker, the problem is its design is now unfocused, doesn't have a core identity cause its not p3 its p5 with a p3 pallet swap and of course its $70 stop being stupid and accepting it, draw a line .,

A lot of people have, as P5 was the game that made JRPGs cool again. It's so noticeably good that even normies played it, and Joker's inclusion in Smash as the premier dlc character gave the game a ton of attention. Really happy to see this series so successful now. I'm even enjoying P3 Reload as someone who greatly disliked the original. P-Studio and Studio 0 are fire and I can't wait for their other big release this year 🔥🔥🔥

I get it though, when you're used to seeing characters in a certain way, seeing them change might be a bit of a kick in the shins. Whether it's a good change or not, could be subjective. Like I've heard people say they couldn't stand Yukari in FES. The anime cutscenes though, yeah. There's some things 3D cutscenes cannot do for sure, though the October 4th scene was way better in Reload imo.

Rush mode can be dangerous at higher levels when enemies that repel physical damage or have one of the counter passive skills start appearing. Then your party can end up killing itself.

I preordered this game and have already put a lot of time into it... Persona 5 royal is one of my all time favorites, persona 4 golden was amazing, and my impressions for this game are SO GOOOOOOOD. I am fairly certain that this is going to end as a top 3 and possibly top 1 game for me by the time im done. The music, the style, THE STORY IS SO COMPELLING... The original P3 was my first awareness of the series, and I always found it so intimidating, but also mystifying. I played a bit of P5 when it came out, basically to the first major boss, and stopped. I knew how much was remaining and I was just like "Yeah, I get it. This is good. It's been 20 hours and I can stop now." This remake is suuuuuper hard to resist. I wonder how the PS4 version is.

I played Persona 3 for the first time in 2022, and it has since become my favorite game of all time. I played the later games afterwards, and enjoy them both quite a bit -- But P3 is my absolute favorite. I don't even like JRPG's normally, yet I'm already ready to jump into Reload and am more than prepared to spend another hundred hours in this game. It's just so good, I've already played for almost five hours and I have to go to work lol

I was fortunate enough to start with 3, and now having completed about 20 SMT games, I agree it's the best entry point. While there are better games, this sets expectations perfectly, every game should be about this good, and there's room to see what improvements can be made to decide which is your favorite. P4 and Devil Survivor personally.

Persona 3 has always had a special place in my heart. I first played it on the PSP because it was love at first sight with Aegis! I played as both genders, so I was a little disappointed that I won't get the full roaster of friends, but at least they added events for the male party members. RIP Hamuko and Theodore. I love you both.
