Did you know that Mission: Impossible - Fallout’s bathroom fight took four weeks to shoot? In Mission: Impossible - Fallout, the dramatic restroom brawl scene was originally supposed to be filmed over the course of four days. It ultimately took four weeks to shoot since it was far more difficult than the filmmakers had anticipated. Henry Cavill did not suggest the scene where his character "reloads" or pumps his arms prior to getting into the fight. Henry Cavill stated in an interview that the particular fight scene was done over the course of 3weeks and the amount of repetitive movements made his arms sore and as such during the particular take of the fight he chose to pumps his arms to relieve some of the soreness he was experiencing. He the mention about how embarrassed he felt doing it and, as such, had no plans to do that again. It was only until the next take in which the director asked why he didn't do the "arm reload" as the director thought the action was really cool that Henry ultimately decided to keep it in the fight scene.

I genuinely thought it wasn't planned either.. that they accidentally caught it and kept it in because it was so good. And it was. No need for Henry to feel embarrassed 💯 it definitely contributed well to the scene in the moment.

@stevenharsono9911 - Rebecca Furguson chose to leave Mission Impossible and go to Dune. I have a suspicion Rebecca did this because she and Tom Cruise were growing too close too fast. As you probably are aware, Rebecca is already MARRIED, with KIDS. This was probably Rebecca’s motivation for doing what she did.

Did you know he didn’t suggest it but in fact it was by mistake because he would do it for his boxing workout and it became a bit of a habit to warm him up. While shooting he did it on accident and asked to do another take not realising they loved it so when he did it without they requested he added it back in
