This movie has a ton of stuff not really intended for children. Gambling, Drinking, Kidnapping, Murder, a depiction of hell, and it was rated G.

Lot of things in 1980s were alot different than they are now I was born in the 80s so this is how I know but yea I watched it I cried my eyes out things are alot different now

This and the second film are both all time favorites of mine, and I’m not really sure why, it’s just somewhat nostalgic for some strange reason, then Oliver and Company from Disney is my next favorite film, which is also nostalgic. I was born in 2003 but these movies were my childhood, and I never had a dog when I was little so this was the closest I could get. Now my dog and I watch these together!

The only finding from this cut so far has been an uncensored (though not scored) verison of Charlie’s nightmare. There’s a recording of it on KZbin but it’s not in the best quality

I won’t lie I think it’s for the best the movie is an amazing movie and it is an incredibly movie that always manages to bring a tear to my eye when I watch it But if there were darker scenes I fear this masterpiece of a movie would become something too tragic and dark like Watership down which is also a good movie but too brutal for multiple rewatches

As interesting as the director's cut version of All Dogs Go To Heaven would be it's probably for the best that we don't see it because it probably end up being a Watership Down Clone and I don't really like Watership Down and I don't want All Dogs Go To Heaven Director's Cut to be a Watership Down clone. I do like the uncut version of Charlie's nightmare though but it's enough.
