I love Freeze's voice when he closes his helmet, it's so haunting and intimidating, it was such a memorable fight. Arkham City has such a perfect feel and ambience that I didn't get from Asylum and Knight even though I love both of those games, too. City was just easily the best out of the three.

The bosses in Arkham city were just so underwhelming. They did Deathstroke so so so dirty in Arkham knight. I'm not sure if thats what AK was going for, an overpowered batman that aint holding his punches cause there is dialogue with the thugs talking that imply that but even still the bosses were harder in City. Two face is another that was underwhelming. I thought wow was that really it. You take him out in one hit.

@@abominablesnowman64 I would say there has to be a wisdom of an older Batman. He would be more efficient and not want to trade blows with deathstroke if he is as good as they say. I only played through Knight once because I never owned a ps4, but it is coming to switch and I might give it another play. I’m not one who needs or even wants big spectacle boss fights these games did it on story for me, and the feeling of stepping into the costume myself and being the Batman. The voice of Kevin Conroy helped, of course.

ok, that first one is actually new to me, imagine all the lines you miss each gameplay in general, which is why I love the arkham series post asylum (which is also great and worthy of GOTY, just lacks true free roam and stuff to do after main story) also R.I.P. Kevin Conroy, one of the greatest Batman voice actors that truly became the batman. he will be greatly missed, along with is everlasting willingness to continue the role.

Note on hard or new game plus. You can only break one statue to get a take down and can't do the same take down multiple times. Even if you get the prompt on a repeated takedown freeze will do an electric attack.

I remember when i was like 10. Almost 8 years ago i was playing arkham city and got stuck on this bossfight for weeks to the point that i wouldn't even attempt it. It was amazing when i finally did it and went on to complete the game. 8 years later arkham city is my favorite game of all time and i just bought the arkham collection a few days ago so i could replay . You can ledge takedown Freeze back to back to back as well and end the fight in under 2 minutes. Not very fun, but it is an easy way to get through it.

I gotta try AC on the hard difficulty. I’ve played up to 71% two or three times and Mr. Freeze is already borderline easy on the normal setting. (Failing probably ten times the first time taught me a lot. lol) I would say Freeze and Grundy are the hardest, but Freeze is so unique. Every other boss fight is like an arcade boss fight because it’s just dodging and repetition. Why AK didn’t have at least one cool boss fight like this one is beyond me. It’s funny, Rocksteady nearly perfected hand-to-hand combat in AK, but made the boss fights worse - if you can call them boss fights.
