I’m from Wigan, we won’t that cup in that classic final the yr before. We got to the quarter finals in 86’ castleford came to Central Park and beat us, I remember as a kid trudging home heartbroken, thinking it was the end of the world, then watching the final a few weeks later and seeing j sandy , it was great, great for r league . Classic.

I was six years old and my dad took me to Wembley to see rovers. I was heartbroken at the end of the game.
