It's not about justifying his actions. It's about accepting that while she got eaten by a lion, she should have known she was running into a lion's den. I do think Tatum could have worded it better, as this sort of thing breaks people, and she was strong for running away. But he had a horrible reputation before she dated him, which is something she is responsible for walking into. Everyone makes mistakes and I do disagree with him on the idea people should be publicly holding her accountable. First of all, I am 19 years old. Second of all, I agree, you don't make the best choices at this age. But that doesn't change the fact it was a poor choice and that she should have known better, especially with the reputation he had beforehand.
