@danielthompson39285 ай бұрын
um, what? They certainly do guard JB drives. They pick up Tatum in the double or triple further out whereas they only double or triple JB in the mid-range. So I guess they do not respect JBs 3s because he is definitely open for 3 more often than Tatum. JB can run through 4 players and people will still say that he is wide-open... goodness. Look at the moments that Tatum is wide-open (which happens way more often than people want to admit) he gets open because of JB drives. Just because he is not hitting his shots does not mean he is not open. If you are saying that he gets double or tripled more than JB, I would say that it is exclusively because he literally has the ball in his hands for more possessions and jacks up about 1/4-1/3 of all of the team's shots by himself (even though he does not account for that point margin). He almost always takes 50% more shots than JB so of course he is literally guarded more.
@EmmanuelAniTheSchism5 ай бұрын
@@danielthompson3928 game one, they were comfortable with having players stunt and recover for JB, but they collapsed on JT. Game two you saw late doubles once JB was in the paint because they wanted him to become a passer, but that was not used as often as the traditional flock to JT. They definitely play different, but just because Tatum has had more open shots that he's missed does not mean that he's had more open shots than JB. Being swarmed on a drive is different from having a player stunt and recover. So yeah, JT consistently has to playmake more

Luka has been the best player all season long. Celtics defense are showing up but Mavs aren’t getting the calls like the Celtics are. Mavs are still in and we’ve come back from an 0-2 lead before. Going to be tough

Straight push? Not really. His hand is on the back, but he doesn't push, just looks that way in slow motion. At full speed, from the side angle you can see it's not a push.

Milwaukee is probably regretting the decisions they made this past offseason/reg-season. Mostly because Giannis putting battery in they're back to make improvements/changes after they lost to the Heat last year - Trading away Jrue to get Dame - Firing Griffin midseason as the 2nd seed team - Hiring Doc to "improve" the coaching position Not much needed to be done to the team because Giannis was injured in the 1st round of those last 2 post seasons.

So let me get this right, JB pushed that player from behind and that somehow it made the player short on the dunk. That's not how physics works. Momentum would have propelled the shooter closer to the basket not further.

The main reason that Dallas was close in some instances in the last 2 games had to do with them reverting to the Miami Heat's clutch-and-grab defensive style. But the difference is that they are not as nasty and don't hit you after the whistle as much as the Heat do all the time (Some culture). The Celtics have seen it all throughout those battles, and also Luka has had Four 30+ points games against the Celtics this year including Three triple-doubles and the Mavericks have lost all 4 games by an average of 15.5 points (3 losses came after their season-changing trades). The Celtics are just a bad matchup for these Mavericks, and the Boston Celtics were more concerned about their own game and focus. 2 more to Banner #18. ☘☘☘☘💚💚💚💚🍀🍀🍀🍀#18.

Do Fans understand for in order for the assist to happen, the other player has to put themselves in the position where that works and then they have to finish the play. I saw 2 assist plays from Tatum in this specific Highlight and FANS act as if it was 20 assists. So folks are really trying hard to Downplay Tatum's horrible shooting Night. His TEAM saved his Bacon. His Assist, Rebounds, and Defense did not change that one bit.
@mtadams20095 ай бұрын
The Celtics cannot shot worst from the three and they still won. Mav vans know they are in serious trouble. It’s hard to win when you can’t score a 100 points and only one player comes to play. The Celtics have complete team. Kyrie is 0-12 against the Celtics and the Celtics are 4-0 against the Mavs. Let’s end this thing.
