There are many reasons victims don't come forward right away including being threatened by the person that harmed them. This lawyer even says he was threatened multiple times already just for taking these cases. These people were terrified to come forward because Diddy was a powerful man with clearly a lot of high profile friends. They finally felt safe enough now that he's in jail to come forward.
