This was, I think, the movie which eventually got me into climbing. I remember sitting there in front of the tv/telly as a kid with sweaty palms after I randomly stumbled upon this movie. I think I even missed the first 10 minutes or so.

You're right. Didier's knee injury came one year later and was not climbing related. Didn't know that when I left the original comment.

I forgot when Didier got hurt...who was the guy that capitalized and did the Cobra before him. Didier had to go home to Switzerland hurt.
