Did you never watch X-Men Evolution. In that show she phased the Blackbird through a mountain and nearly managed to phase a whole train through another train. She didn't make it, but that had more to do with duration, not size. Poiint is, she's always been able to phase objects that large, and the people in them.

@@cuddlebug9699 Not really. Kitty generally has complete control over what she chooses to phase. She can phase through the ground when she wants, but only when she wants. She can choose whether or not gravity affects her It's even been implied at points that she can levitate with enough practice, in one episode she was briefly levitating when she emerged in an underground chamber. Beyond that, she can phase through electronics with pinpoint accuracy, either quietly disabling them or blowing them up. As seen in the films she can even phase in to the ground and bob back up, indicating that gravity is no obstacle for her.

That's only true of objects she phases _through_, not objects she phases _with_. It's the building's electrical system that would be disrupted, not the helicopter's.

If Kitty phased the whole helicopter, then the propellers were just phasing through the air molecules, and not forcing air down and no longer giving a downward thrust any more. As soon as that happened, the helicopter should have dropped immediately.
