All that changes when she gets stuck in Mojo World,stranded in the Badlands and then later on joins X-Force. Jubilee chooses to use her powers at a bare minimum sorta the way the Flash does in DC. Even Superman and Batman know the Flash is thee most powerful Justice League member. It's who the Flash is that prevents himself from ever using his powers to their full extent. Jubilee is the exact same way. She knows what she's capable of. She just chooses to make pretty lights with it instead.

Poor Jubilee. Always the bridesmaid never the bride, even though she is one of the longest standing X-men characters there are. I also like that her powers are unique…I haven’t read comics for a while so I don’t know much about newer mutants, but I’m pretty sure she’s the only mutant with powers like hers…? I think the logical next step for Jubilee is to make her center stage, give her a power upgrade, possibly omega, and elevate her to a full time leader. She has always been the heart of the “younger generations”. I say. Let her have them. Consider her story arc and how she loved adored and idealized the X-men. I’d love to see her be the new “professor x” with her position enforced by omega level powers and her long standing convictions of what the X-men stand for.

I knew she was that strong....from her short X-Force collabs. Her Diego,Sam Gunthery,Feral ,Boom Boom,Domino,Cable,Shatterstar and Warpath were a different breed. During that short run before she pretty much strikes out on her own and goes back into music full time Cable had turned her into a top notch soldier combine that with the fact that Wolverine already trained his students to be top tier assassins the fact that she became so efficient at killing,combat and violence is actually what contributed to her leaving and going back to being a pop star. She felt like both the X-Men and X-Force were turning her into a trained killer and a soldier and she deep down inside doesn't want to be either. Even still make no mistake about it she's very good at both. As good as this cartoon is it's still light work compared to what's in the books. Jubilee has gone toe to toe with Mojo on Mojo World,Polaris before she joined X-Factor,survived alone in the Badlands and on the Island of Krakoa. And faced down whole armies on Sentinels damn near by herself in the comic books but since this a TV show we'll probably never get to see just how down and dirty she can get. After all it's still supposed to be just for kids and a lot of what Jubilee went through to become the full blown soldier ready to face Apocalypse would probably be considered rated R.
