Really? I want to say "Why?" I can't see the point and it looks a mess. Perhaps if it was done in braid or ribbon without all the jagged edges it might look better, but I still can't see it. Sorry

Hi Ann Not to worry we are all different! it's just one way of building up a surface, potential to dye the fabric and layer up. In my head I sort of see it being used in a nautical theme such as fishing nets inspired, ropes or something! I could imagine the knots all different scales and using different materials.
