I think an alternate universe would be created- one where the future ones exist in Order to murder the past,but the past no longer exist.. So there would be no more past anymore with them in it, only the future

What I love most about all of these shorts is that in almost every single one, there is at least a couple people in the background who are still working. When I can find a job in which the apocalypse is happening around me and no really bothers to look up because they've seen it all before, I will finally be satisfied with life.

that's a paradox because they killed them self in the past they wont be around to actually kill them self and since they are not around to kill them self they wont be killed etc. classic time travel mistake.
@zaraki88810 жыл бұрын
Great scott! You're right! But you have to come back with me right now, hinting back!
@hittingyouoverthehead5 жыл бұрын
But that's not how time travel works. They could go to the past and kill their own selfs. They'll be unaffected because the past selfs of themselves will die in a parallel universe. The them in the current universe will remain. You can't change your own past. That's how it works.

If their future selves killed their "present" selves, then their past selves would still be alive. However, since the "present" selves are now dead, the future selves would never exist until the past selves become their age.

i knew of "forward at a slower rate than earth" but i never considered that as traditional time travel. traveling back as far as the invention of the time machine is a nice way to look at it, i've never thought of that, but paradoxes and gain are still two things, gain, i assume can be worked around, but paradoxes are a bit more tricky right?
