There is some aspects in the way that Kanonenfieber use to relate these stories that remind me of what Carach Angren did on "Where Corpses Sink Forever". And that's a compliment. I've been listening to "Die Urkatastrophe" non stop since it came out, amazing album.

Dude this record is blowing my mind. Crazy hooks, fantastic melodies that blend the harsh vocals so well, it just sounds so fresh and catchy, despite being brutally heavy and very emotional. Just an incredible record, album of the year contender for sure.

This new Kanonenfieber album might be challenging Dödsrit for my album of the year for metal. It’s that good. Be sure to check out the 2021 debut album called Menschenmüle as well; it is more on the black metal side and not as catchy, but the atmosphere is still there. On a sidenote, you pronounced the band name the same way I did when I first talked about them back in 2021. Ah well, that’s not that big of a deal.

Huge step up from the debut and the EPs. Went from thinking that, of all the war-themed bands, Kanonenfieber were one of them to finally clicking with what they (or he) tried to tell me and being excited about his future. Now to wait until *Suns Of Perdition IV* comes out.

Yeah, love this band. The debut was good, but this is much better IMHO. Just FYI, for anyone who didn’t know, Noise has two more projects! The first one is Leipa, there most recent was amazing. The other one is Non Est Deus. I’ve liked their material before. The last one was ok, but very Mgla-ish - that’s ok I guess but had less of an original voice.
