I love this route from Luzern to Interlaken! We have stayed in Sachseln several times and Reuti too and traveled this route many times. It is a beautiful part of Switzerland, and I hope to one day go back to this part of Switzerland. I have many wonderful memories of our time in Switzerland with my family.

This is my favourite swiss overland route...typical swiss engineering. I love seeing everyones faces when an otherwise overland express train suddenly just pulls the "rack- rail trick" out of the "hat" for just 12% of the overall journey when it needs to !! Imagine the euston to birmingham express (here in the uk) suddenly climbing a hill at a huge angle, then climbing down the other side into an enormous gourge, becouse a tunnel just would'nt work ! Everyone onboard would think something had gone terribly wrong! Transportation wise, the swiss will always find a way around anything.... Respect !!

At one hour, one minute and fourty one seconds, look to the left and you will see a wooden bear on the top edge of the hasli valley (blink and yo will miss it!) It tells you that you have left the canton of obwalden and just entered the canton of bern... land of mountains and lakes!!

I love this route, whenever I go to Switzerland and Interlaken, this is the train I take from Zürich. Only one technical detail about the video: it seems to have a bit of jitter throughout, could this be fixed? Other videos don't seem to have this problem and look completely smooth (like the Luzern - Engelberg one, for example).

I like the Swiss lakes with mountains. As place of residence I would prefer Montreux (wehre even palm trees grow) but if you are Switzerland railway fan Interlaken is the best place to stay for a lot of expedtions including Berner Oberland (Eiger, Moench, Jungfrau).

37:56~49:40 = Lake Lungern(Lungernersee). this lake and town exists as "Lakeville" map in game "World of Tanks". they cutted lake to half(to north and south) and used south part with northern lake coast to make lake and town and moved cathedral(or maybe church) on south side of city to center of town. and also photo of lake used as Windows 10 random recommended pre-login image. if your pc shows it you can say "it's lungern!" or "it's Lakeville of World of Tanks!".

What a wonderful ride. Excellent and so Swiss. For those a bit pee-ed off at the Shaky Shakey try watching at 1.25 or 1.5 speed. You don't notice it as much and....... you still get the same thrill of the ride.

Exactly the opposite of what I do with video’s from the car-dashboard, that get on my nerves due to my constantly co-piloting 🤦🏼‍♀️ I lower the speed to 0,75. However this confirms exactly what I am: a Dutch grey-haired woman still aspiring to drive in Switzerland - but annoyingly carefully.

Beautifull, and the trains seem tio run quite fast for metre gauge. I would say 100 km/h in the straight sections (I've seen limitations to 80 signalled but I guess that only applies in specific points, if the rules are the same as the ones applied on 'big' SBB trains)

Dear AkshajPlaysTrainGames, A storm almost completely destroyed our line in mid-August 2024, which is why no trains can currently run on the line. The interruption is planned until November 24. Until then, no trains will be running between Meiringen and Brienz. We regret the circumstances and ask for your understanding.

Very nice and scenic route, especially when it starts climbing hills. You can see the lake from an altitude. And the speed, wow!! Goes quite fast. However there seems to be a technical problem with the video with the jittering. Doesn't happen in other videos. Can this be fixed? Other videos don't seem to have this problem.

Tolle Bilder, etwas stoerender Zeitraffer , oder aenliche Alchimie , merkt man am "Rupfen"der Bilder hin und wieder. Besonders auffaellig ist di Ausfahrt mit Steigung in die Zahnstangen in Giswi (ab Min.33.00). wenn man die Autos beobachtet, rechts auf der Dorfstrasse, "duesen" diese weit schneller davon als die erlaubten 50 Kmh.Aber insgesamt schoen TreNord Luino

Ist kein Zeitraffer, die Länge des Videos passt genau zur planmäßigen Fahrzeit (abzüglich ein paar Minuten für den Richtungswechsel in Meiringen). Vmax auf dieser Strecke ist 120km/h.
