This is so cool, I restored one of these a while back. Yours was in worse shape and turned out completely awesome! 🤠 Wasn't expecting modification, your roof chop was great and a super idea 💡👍! The seat is great, a lot better than the cheap plastic that came in it. The window and steering wheel and suitcase look so good! Red paint and details look really good as well. The people were perfect in displaying! This was a great idea, an awesome video and you did amazing work my friend! Hope you have an excellent day! 😁👏👏👍👍

Absolutely Awesome Martin what a cute little build. As for the chrome strips I'm fairly sure they were from Hobbycraft if not it was from a similar craft shop can't quite remember. Pointy-nose pliers and a straight pull on the suspension wires usually works, I find - and a bath in WD first to let them slip, if needed. I really like the Code3 fun stuff and it sometimes takes a few Brave Pills to get started, but the results, as seen here, are very satisfying. Sweet as a nut, Martin! I have a mental three-wheeled Mini, that was manufactured in Germany some time ago - it is a Matrix or Neo model, I think...
@martindaredare5 күн бұрын
Thanks very much, fraser, a 3-wheeled mini interesting concept. The centre crimps on the base plate where to tight,and would allow me to pull he wire through, witch does happen from time to time . All the best Martin

You can pull the two wire springs out with a pair of pliers, I’ve done plenty of these restorations😊
