Good call on the wheels, Martin: Land Rover hubs are five stud, so the plain wheels are more accurate. Carmichael did supply vehicles with the old Range Rover 'Rostyle' steelies - I drove a six-wheeler once - but they were five 'spokes', not six. Interesting model for conversion though - the Fire Tender section being removed lands itself to a Code3 - maybe a caravanette, Ambulance or cherry picker. I have seen all of them! Perfect detailing on the final - just lovely! All the hose and mechanical works look like brand new! PS. Love the snoring dog!

Another nice job Martin, the search light looks great with that little extra detail as do the hoses, it’s a shame they put those wheels on these models, the metal Range Rover ones weren’t quite so bad, but those plastic ones always end up floppy🤦🏻‍♂☹ All the best, Nick🐸🐸

Hi mate what a nice little fire engine. One of my mates is an ambulance driver and for a short time he had to drive a smaller station wagon or estate car fast response vehicle, Just him and a paramedic. One day they parked in an ambulance bay and a ticket warden gave him a ticket. My mate said why did you do that, the warden said it ain't an ambulance. My mate said can't you see the emergency lights and medical gear in the back. But the warden wouldn't have it. A few weeks later the warden got knocked over by a car and someone rang for an ambulance and guess who turned up. My mate said , now would you still like to argue about weather this is an ambulance or not?🤣🤣😂😂 Stay safe mate see you on the next one.👍🏻

Nice one Martin. Another good use of the Landie. Looking a bit more real than off the shelf. . Flowers does nice range of different colour hubs that lòk a bit more like truck wheels. Was that carnival red on the finish? Looks similar to the bus I've recently done
