@panashe52682 ай бұрын
A lot of reaction channels doubted Lucas. Each reaction channel I watched doubted him and fully believed that he would betray El and the group. And that’s largely the writers fault. They made Lucas such an irrelevant character that people genuinely believed he could turn on the group. They wouldn’t react the same if it was Dustin or Mike.
@kiml.15652 ай бұрын
Agreed!! I also think it's notable that the show suggests Lucas wasn't alone in his desire for things to change. He says that they had all agreed they wanted high school to be different from their previous experiences, but it seems like Dustin and Mike found an in-group where they could feel normal, and that was all they actually wanted. Lucas was dreaming of more popularity than that, and so he kept working for it. But there was NEVER a time where Lucas was actually quitting D&D (even though it would have been socially advantageous to him) or planning to leave his friends behind. He wanted them to postpone D&D so that he could do BOTH, and he wanted them to come to his game so they could "be normal" too. Lucas has been ride-or-die since the first season and I'll fight anyone who disagrees!

My big prediction for Season 5: Max's mind is still alive and whole - and trapped inside of Vecna, along with the minds of ALL the other victims he's claimed over the years. Vecna has said over and over that his victims "aren't gone" and are "a part of me" and I think he was speaking literally. But the big difference is, Max's body is ALSO still alive (because Vecna was stopped before he could blow up her brain and kill it), which means that Max still has a chance to escape back to her body. So I think part of the season will be about Max and the other victims teaming up to weaken Vecna from the inside, before she escapes and the rest of them go free to move on.

The actor portraying Eddie did not know how to play the guitar but actually learned how to play all of Metallica's Master of Puppets on guitar in a matter of weeks. There is video of him practicing it on YT So many threads were finally being revealed; how Vecna is not the ultimate power, it's this black smoke (possibly still The Mindflayer)...Will still being connected to it Speaking of Will, the poor kid is in love with his best friend and is coming to terms with letting go of him in that regard, he's got whatever the big bad is still attached to him, and also dealing with internally who he is as a person (that one on one with his big bro was much needed) My prediction is that Season 5 will be a time jump to 1989; it's the end of the era that The Duffer Brothers dedicated Stranger Things to and I think age-wise that would put the gang all turning 18 and becoming adults so a big finale around NYE 1989 would be dope as hell

Rewatching this season is tough because of the feelings you got when you first see Eddie. And you know how it's all gonna end. You have no idea how badly I wanted to comment "justice for Eddie" back in Season 1 but obviously I couldn't.

Also i dont think I've seen yall cry this hard 😢 poor girls i feel you. I was so mad they killed Eddie, that song was too sad!

One more season - just one season, one more season to go and then we're done! I gotta say, if they fail to pull this all together in the final season and tie up all the loose ends and leave us with an amazing conclusion that is a true win that leaves us excited to have reached it - heads will have to roll ... they dare not drop the ball now!

I read that originally the writers planned to kill Max off but decided not to for whatever reason. I think it said they changed their mind when they had to pause filming during the pandemic.

Literally had half my town in my back yard having a watch party crying at 3 in the morning because of this episode it was crazy.

You both are incredible and this show has been one of the best I've ever seen too. So many emotions and rollercoaster loops!

Look at Eddie scoring some on-screen real hero points and love for that which is different, but still good 😊

I'm grateful that we got Erica this season, but I'm disappointed we didn't get at least as much as we got last season.

The way they basically did 2 major endings with movie length episodes on E7 and E9 was something I haven't seen in a show yet.

I watched this at work when it first aired lol I was a sobbing mess, I’m so glad it was empty that day, one of the best series finales I’ve ever seen

Me too. I watched on my tablet and barely breathed and cried through an entire roll of T.P.

Ppl never notice that after tossing fresh dough, Argyle puts a frozen pizza in the “oven”..lol..just noticed as they break back into the prison, they leave the lights on in the truck.. I think El will have to go to the Upside Down and take control over the Mind Flayer..it’s the only power Henry has over her..she might have to stay there to change it, and seal the door from the other side. It’s funny Mike’s mom said he’s never leaving again, seems like being away from Hawkins would be the best idea. I’m never “not” emotional on these rewatches..testament to awesome television!

2 things I didn't expect. Arianna's SOBS when max went made me feel awful if you could channel that on command you could win an Oscar. And I did not expect Maple to slowly crush on Argyle but here we are

Yes LOVE Argyle. They better not touch him season 5.

So in this first dropped, me and like 10 friends had a viewing party. 10 people drunk as a skunk, bawling their eyes out to Eddie and Max. 😂😂

I agree with one of the best season finales. I put it right up there with Avatar, although that was a series finale.

So, here's a thought.... If you think about it, Argyle is the same age as Jonathan. And so, he would presumably have parents (or legal guardians) of his own. With him being gone all this time without warning, traipsing across the US with the party.... boy is gonna get grounded bad when he gets back to California. 😂😂
@John_Locke_1082 ай бұрын
Lol. Yeah, that's why he's not in Season 5.

If he's a senior too then he could already be 18. Also some people's parents are lax and/or negligent,,,,

Just like the electricity always flickers whenever El uses her powers, I think El was able to get Max's heart beating again (like the electric paddles do when someone goes into cardiac arrest) but she was already gone otherwise..
@John_Locke_1082 ай бұрын
It's a feel good show until the bitter end. Luckily for you, y'all have two less years of waiting than us. It's been a looong wait so far and we still don't know when Season 5 will air.
@MoistTowelette125Ай бұрын
I wonder how they’re gonna do the final season since it’s taking so long to come out? The ending to this season makes it seem like events will happen somewhat fast, so having all the actors 3-4 years older is gonna feel off. Unless they do a time skip. Idk. It’ll be interesting to see what they do
