Perhaps your very first knowledge of México occurred in school, or from watching a movie, or a television show, or accidentally listening to a Mexican song on the radio? For example, I was only 5 years old in 1984 when my father took me to watch the movie Rocky IV in theaters. This was the first time that I ever heard the words: The United States of America. So great to see someone who learnt almost the same way as I did the English language. Via lyrics translation, movies with subtitles, school and the good education matter too but you have to build the language learning into your hobbies so you can learn faster. PS: once I praised Ana's English I was yelled at in the comment section like oh English is not sooo hard and stuff but as a non-English speaker, we deserve the recognition for talking in a language fluently which fundamentally is not ours.

7AUG23 - Just now finished watching BABYLON. Why did it take me this long?! Crazy AF movie... Made me wonder all through out watching it, "Where the hell has this guy been?!" He was wonderful in this movie! Everyone in it was good but Diego was GREAT and seeing him in this interview made me admire him even more.
