I've been to Naples on holiday and it is true, everywhere I went there were shrines to Maradona, or pictures of him on the wall in bars and restaurants. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and my two favourite pizzerias both do Neapolitan style pizzas, which is the best in my opinion. But they all had charisma and personality that appealed to the fans and people in general. Of course it's their athletic abilities that made them great. Maradona was a great player but he didn’t do much after his playing career was over. Drug and alcohol abuse lead to his health deterioration .. P.S Messi is better .

I remember those days of Maradona. Of course he had an extraordinary soccer/futbol talent, perhaps second only to a Pele. But he was one of the worst cheaters, ear biters, poor sports, and foul players perhaps in sports history. His daily life of abuse, sexual assaults, and more very much makes him a bad example for any Human. Why is it mankind (mostly the media) has no realistic memory of this guy's less-than-admirable life?
