Maybe dumb question -- Why did the ref fix Pato's gi @ 4:44 and is that normal?

He went to fix it but he stopped. He thought Quexiniho's foot was stuck in the Gi. There is a difference between wrapping the lapel and putting your foot in the Gi fabric. One is illegal one is not. But it happens a lot by accident in these lapel guard exchanges so the ref often frees the foot if it's in the Gi.
