my second car at the track was a 1969 Corvette originally setup for 1/8 mile racing. I ran a 11.90 in the 1/4 with a 4 speed when my prior best time was 14.95 in an Auto. 3 gear changes and NO trans brake. Ruby is an easy car to drive and it happens to be super fast. Staging Ruby is the hardest part. The fact people with zero fast 1/4 times drove Ruby and got low 8's earlier says how easy she is to drive.

When he’s talking about never understanding drag racing, I understand his motion I’m from the uk I’ve never really had to option to watch drag racing. But since watching your videos it just makes it look so fun and interesting, made my hairs stand up on my neck 😂 great time

You need to go to santapod! Whenever we will be allowed i don't know. Years ago I raced up there, I won a couple of races and lost a few. Man is it good fun, lining up and waiting for the green light. Its fantastic

Damn shame you never seen Ken Block, Mike Finnegan, Dave Frieburger, Vaughn Gittin, and many others "partying" and posting there videos. Hell even Alex Taylor done a sick burnout when she was ready to replace her old tires,& posted it. In this video I didnt seen a tire pop. The Aussie's stop when the rim grinds the pavement!
