Give me old tech everyday! Can you do some machine repair videos too? I subscribe to Warren at Wwestern Truck and Tractor Repairs and although modern stuff is not something I would attempt to repair it is still very interesting. Warren does great videos on repairing new and old machines, trucks and tractors. You made a good quote too, "it doesn't know why but it just knows its not getting what it wants and it will just throw a code", that is a great summery of modern tech and why it goes wrong!

Well int. Did not do you any favors if I remember in the drivers side above the started the ran quite a few of air lines and cables which bury the valve you hv to feel fit it over get under breather and look up , usually around cylinder 4 or 5 on the block I have had to remove the air inlet at times to get at it

Well , what year , what engine , what brand ? But normally the def DOSER and the diesel DOSER are not the same if that is what your asking

@@sonofmontezuma3732 thanks I have check engine light both yellow took it to Cummings and they said it’s too much def and diesel going out so they said replace that same doser on your video but can’t find it on my 2017 Cascadia Cummings ISX

The diesel DOSER on a elbow behind turbo on hot side , the def fluid on the décomp tube behind dog filter but ahead of the SCR canister

Depending on year & make it’s different location but most are drivers side above the starter area between cylinders 4&5 on freight liners they are hard to see but on Pete n kw they are easy to find

The part has different numbers depending on year , brand ,size of engine

@@sonofmontezuma3732 thanks for the feedback I was able to find the part number online using the part name. KW dealer sells it for about $180. Unfortunately for me this one is the cheapest one I need. The rest are $400 plus. 🤦‍♂️

@@oswaldoibarra6157 I hv in the past taken them apart and cleaned them, don’t forget it gets it’s air supply for the air drier do test the line first, usually white in color
