Hey, thanks for your video, I like the tutorials! I am working in the Congo, and have this exact generator and it is overheating, it is only a year old, has about 2600 hours. Do you know if this particular model has an available oversized radiator that fits the stock generator? Our fins are clean as a whistle, good air flow through the machine, coolant is full, it just overheats in the middle of the day if it has been running for more than a few hours.

My video is being watched from the Congo? That’s awesome. I’m not sure if there’s an oversized radiator for this PRAMAC generator but I recommend verifying the fan belt tension (if you push on the belt it should not move more than 1/2 inch.) If the belt is good then you might have a bad thermostat or a faulty water pump. Hope this helps.

Hi, I’m on off grid solar system with the same generator! Our solar inverter communicate to the generator to start or stop the generator! That was before the electric storm! So we had an electric storm, then the genorator started alone, since then we have to manually turn it off and on, if I put that screen on Auto It would immediately starts the generator but will not stop until I personally turn it off! Can you help how can we fix this? So it go back to auto operated system. Thank you in advance

Hi! I can definitely help. It sounds like the generator is sensing that the “main” power (solar system in your case) is missing or is out of the parameters set in the generator controller. The pramac controller is the one that keeps track of the grid voltage and if anything goes out of the set parameters it will start the generator and won’t turn off until grid voltage is back to set parameters. Having said that, verify the “mains” voltage the generator is sensing from your solar system. Then verify the mains over voltage and under voltage parameters on the generator controller settings. For example, if your generator controller has the mains over voltage parameters set to 130v (which means, if the grid voltage goes above 130 volts it will start the generator) and your utility voltage is going over the 130v due to phase unbalance or outage the generator will start. Same the other way around, if the mains utility voltage goes under the set under voltage parameter the generator will start and won’t turn off until the grid voltage is back to set parameters of the controller. Hope this helps. Keep me updated.

Mine is as if a timer has been set , it runs for 15mins and it turns off. How do I fix that?

When does it happen? When you start it manually, in auto or in both circumstances?

@@tacticalpowerpro same as on The video, The one with Buttons next to it, but we figured it out. It was a fuse
