Any idea why these don’t have a cav dpa pump on them? This setup looks a lot more complicated for no benefit

Lazy pumps 3000 and 5000 Browns 990 and 950 but Leyland's start on button Leyland's have more dog Teeth starter motor or Fly wheel old station pumps bigger wheel pull BY hand easy to start

I just can't understand why these injection pumps are so crazy expensive on all these old diesel tractors, not just this model...even rebuilt ones are stupid expensive..why?? are they that complicated? One of the major reasons I gravitate toward old tractors with gasoline engines...
