This product is a cross-sectioned and manually operated rotary diesel injection pump which makes instruction easy and allows you to:
• Describe the operating parts of the injection pump which have been carefully sectioned to allow a clear view.
• Point directly to the transfer pump, speed governor, automatic advance regulator, hydraulic sensor device, fuel circuit, and piston.
• Control the speed of the injection pump through manual operation of the crank handle.

ive been 'gas' engine mechanic many years, now am reponsible to fix case 580 backhoe, this pump blows my mind, nothing like it on a gas engine, anyone who works on these has to be very intelligent, or something extraordinary, i dont understand why or how it is so complex and dificult to work on. what do i tell my boss? how long will it take to pull the pump and put it all back together?
