What gears are you running? Seems like it runs pretty well. Also, the Osias oil pressure regulator, is that listed as a fuel pressure regulator? like 45 bucks on Amazon?

Running 3.73 gears and 40s and is a slug but its gets there and does well, and yes that is the same one lol works great too

I used a rail shifter unit and wired it to the shift solenoid

It's great just has a different power curve if I had more funds I'd have done a tdi swap instead

@@WatsonFabrication that was my second thought to was if I didn't go at the OM617 I was going to go with TDI when it comes time. Seems like the TDI has more potential for better fuel economy and power if you build it

@ils360 the potential is there for the tdi definitely has the newer technology over the old om617 with its Indirect injection, but the om617 will always win in reliability

Do you know the mpg? I've been looking to swap my zj orvis to a Diesel cause before the pandemic I was attending to become a Diesel mechanic but the PLANdemic started so school got shut down
