I filmed these last Saturday and they are running epic. Managed to do the epic motored one and the one on the other side of the garage. The one next to the epic motor one was not in service. I also love the voice on them.

Sounds like its had a VF drive fitted at sometime.

It’s because it uses VVVFD drive controller which is also used on trains

The glass ma not only be for the "view" but maybe it inhibits some vandalism. Imagine you could be spotted by others whise weeing in the elevator. Would you do that?

What were the original buttons and indicator? What is the beeping sound for and why? Are you sure that the elevators are Dover because I couldn't see a Dover logo anywhere?

There doesn't always have to be a Dover logo. You can tell these are Dover by the lanterns.

I used to work in the elevator business and I can spot who made the elevator machinery by the shape of the castings. The beeping is for compliance with the ADA so if the voice announcement isn't working, blind riders can count the floors.

kansasthunderman1 pretty sure he is referring to the fast interval beeping in the elevator, not the floor indicator beep. I think it is the non-critical error warning which is so maintenance workers know they need to check the controller
