Swing Door!! Dover Impulse Traction Elevators in Omaha, NE

(August 2023) This is a really unique and interesting set of Dover elevators at the Skinner Macaroni Lofts in Omaha, NE. I assume these elevators used to be something really vintage, but at some point Dover/O'keefe came and did some heavy work on them. One of the elevators was totally replaced and is a regular passenger. The other one still has a SWING DOOR! This is the first swing door elevator I've seen with Dover Impulse!

The regular elevator uses a ThyssenKrupp buzz while the swing door elevator uses a longer extended Otis beep.

O'Keefe is just a Dover/ThyssenKrupp Distributer. And O'Keefe is still a ThyssenKrupp Distributer to this day.

That first one looks like it’s runs on a TKE TAC controller and I know it’s not. Really nice elevators, epic find.

The interlock on the swing door elevator is very weird (mounted to the TOP of the door jamb rather than the side!). Is it retiring cam actuated like a typical swing door interlock, or some weird unconventional setup? It also looks like it may be designed for double swing doors, but in this case only 1 hole is used.

I hate the FPC chime on the swing door elevator. I can tolerate the buzz on the other elevator but not THIS GARBAGE
