People are just tired of big corporations changing and generalising shows to appease an even bigger audience which in turn would generate more money, while appeasing everyone is actually impossible because people have different opinions. My advice to Disney is to stay true to the niche idea the show started with instead of trying to diversify something. (diversify in this sentence is meant to be understood in the way of including different opinions of different people in one single show which in turn makes the show incoherent and less interesting as an audience, this comment is in no way meant as an attack to any group or community)

For me, the problem isn't in lack of diversity in opinions but rather the opposite. The main cast and show runners don't live outside their elitist bubbles enough to bring any new ideas to the table. There are plenty of shows with many characters with different opinions. What makes those shows good is an emphasis on themes and good writing structure.

The guy who killed himself could've been the Sith we saw Considering we saw him get mind fucked, this couldve led to him having a strong distrust for witches and eventually leading to him being strong in the Dark Side and hating the Jedi for not doing anything to help him. May couldve been an assassin assisting this guy in killing Jedi who may have suspected him from turning to the dark side and when May is in tracked down and about to be arrested. Boom, the jedi we saw get brain blasted now a Sith lord whos finally revealed himself. A much better twist than the one we got.

I do have to say there are some redeeming qualities and interesting parts of this show (like the fighting) but not enough to really warrant continuing it or to call it good. Just enough to slightly pique my interest. What makes this show really bad is not so much the show itself (except the actress that plays Osha (despite not being allowed to climb a ladder at work without proper safety measures) cannot deliver her lines with any emotion or skill) is the director, Leslie Headland, and her attitude towards Star Wars fans and pushing of an inclusivity agenda rather than focusing on Star Wars and letting inclusivity happen naturally. It's very forced to the detriment of story telling
