Hi Trackside Tyson...Thanks for these rail-views...As usual, I would love to see some (human) life and warmth...Else it seems so cold...The Bald eagle was a ray of relief...Cheers from Bangalore.

Hi Tyson; I never know what to expect, but I know it's going to be cool. Loved the sunrise and the eagle footage. Just super !! Is that taken on the Fraser R ? James.
@TracksideTyson2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the support James! This is the Kamloops Lake near Kissick on the CN Ashcroft Subdivision.

What an amazing sunrise. -3c? It could have been a lot worse I suppose
@gragor112 жыл бұрын
Apparently CN has so many locis running around the continent in other railroads' lash-ups that they had to buy those CREX Rent a Wrecks full time, ex Citi rail as well, to fill the roster. Beautiful opening shot. Nice wide angle lens distortion as well. I had to move a bit away from the screen in case one of those containers toppled over onto me ;) thanks for heading out there and filming for us. I take it that was Highland Valley Copper tucked up there behind the hills?
@TracksideTyson2 жыл бұрын
They sure have a big fleet by now. Thanks for all the props much appreciated! What is highland valley copper? I checked it out on my map and it is up there in that direction I pointed. Thanks for the comment!

How many trains come by here a day? Long hike for just one ☝️.
@TracksideTyson2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the day but in a good day you should see 10-20 in 7-13 hours sometimes more! If you go further west from this location you can watch both mainlines which means more trains with CP’s mainline and CN’s mainline, they combine and run directionally together. Thanks for the comment.

Is the train longer than the tunnel?
@TracksideTyson2 жыл бұрын
Yes the tunnel is half a mile long or a mile long and the train is usually 2-3 miles long, thank you for watching!
