I'm a female with about 40lbs to lose...I have been panicking because the scale is just not moving much. I've "only" lost about 5lbs according to the scale, but my pants are falling off, and I'm able to wear things that didn't fit before. Everything you said makes so much sense and reassures me to just keep going. Thank you!

Great vid. Thanks for this. For 2 weeks I've been training hard, improving my macros, feeling and looking fitter, but the scale went up 2lbs. This vid has encouraged me to keep going and not to be discouraged. Thank you. X

Thank you!!!!!! I was feeling so down on myself. For the first time in my life I have been weighing my food, drinking over a gallon of water, and hitting my protein goal daily and the scale went up. I was so discouraged, this is exactly what I needed to see!! I really need to learn patience. lol

I didn't see consistent drop on the scale until week 3, the 1st week it was the same or higher. Even with the desired slow drop, my clothes are much looser and physique more toned. Non-scale measurements are great to do to stay motivated!

Thank you for commenting this. I'm at the end of week two and haven't seen anything happen. I'm trying to keep my head wrapped around the idea (fact) that this is a long term thing - months and months

That's a relief. Was excited to weigh myself, after the first week of diet and exercise, and was gutted to see I gained a pound. I will keep this up for a further three weeks and if nothing changes, I'll have to re-evaluate my diet.

Good god, Paul, I hope you’re right. Week 2 of “de fatting” and the scale has barely budged. Working out consistently, weight training and walking 3-5 miles a day. 700 calorie deficit, high protein diet. :(

I’m going through the same thing I been putting on more weight! I’m 53 I’m vegan 🌱 I workout at least a hour a day in my home gym or ride my bike, I don’t really have any body fat but my muscles have been getting bigger but I been putting on a lot of weight and I’m very confused about it. I don’t eat a lot either I eat a small breakfast and lunch 🥗 but I don’t eat anything in the evening! I drink coffee and tea and a lot of water! And i have type 2 diabetes so i think 🤔 maybe my body is holding more fluids for some reason! Great video Thank you 👍😎🤘

What are your opinions on powdered greens or cold press green drinks to supplement veggies?
@philippegelinas30835 жыл бұрын
So true! To much fiber from vegetable and sodium make my scale go up😁 I'm wondering also if eating to much vegetable could stale weight loss by slowing down our neat. Eating to many veggies can be hard to digest and maybe not giving the body the energy it needs🤔 I know a calories is a calories but I have a very different energy from eating a bowl of oats versus a bowl of veggies even if the calories are equal. 😝

I kicked the scale because the number keeps going up. I started measurements and body fat measurements tool. I went from 34% body fat to 31% in 2 months and gained 15 pounds of lean muscle.

🤔🤔🤔 I gained weight, Im back to the weight I had 2 years ago but I was looking at the pics and I still look leaner now, and I wear size 1 jeans which I didn’t fit at all 2 years ago. Scale is a pain in the ass 👎🏼

I've started a brand new weight lifting program and I've been eating extremely clean with a lot of protein. Oatmeal, chicken, veggies, brown rice, blueberries, lots of water.... It's been three weeks and the scale has barely budged. I've lost weight in the past easily, but didn't weight train like I am now. It's discouraging, but I'm going to stick with this for at least a year.

Hello Paul, what is the purpose of cardio if you can just drop your deficit the amount of calories you would be burning during that cardio session?
@AFTone144 Жыл бұрын
Because you can eat more and not walk around starving all the time. Walking actually suppresses your appetite. I do a 500 calorie deficit and burn 500 calories walking for a total 1,000 cal deficit daily and drop about 2 lbs a week and never feel like I'm dieting.
