I've got my attention hooked by his voice on an amazing song "Bonjour Chérie" Total amazing song and the atmosphere makes us being transported to PARIS and white sheets and a beautiful green eyed black haired woman and a bottle of Champagne! at the finest Hotel! A real Renaissance man. I was lucky enough to meet him in London a few times when he was promoting You Gotta Say Yes. I remember (just) a long and vinous lunch in Soho where we talked about Proust, Dadaism, Herbert von Karajan, Schweitzerdeutsch (the Swiss-German dialect), Helmut Newton, English tailoring, Italian cuisine, the films of Ernst Lubitsch...oh and maybe a bit about Yello. Still the most fascinating person I've ever met, and the most genial.
